My husband and I have been married for years and we are so grateful to God for his blessings. We became God Parents for the first time at a Sierra Leonean Wedding.
We also went to church on New Year’s Eve, cone with us.
Let me also take this time to wish you all a blessed 2024🙏🏽

I'm curious do you guys do traditional marriage rights? As in dowry and p Bride price celebrations?

Oh yes we do… we call it Engagement ceremony here. There’s usually a Calabash (round local bowl like container) where they put the engagement ring, a Bible/Quran, the bride price and a few other things for the bride. Almost similar to how you do your traditional wedding but we don’t do the palm wine sharing part.
