As a Spurs fan, firstly...great performance. Well done and all the best for the future. Secondly, imo, NUFC are a club that let those who know about football work in peace, whereas THFC are a business who's chairman is clueless when it comes to football yet he calls the shots. Eddie is a great manager and he will bring you success. I'm glad he didn't come to us as Levy wouldn't have given him the work environment necessary to be fruitful. I'll be following NUFC in the UCL next season as I like watching good, entertaining football. All the best. 👍

grew up with an uncle that was like a big brother and is a spurs fan so this matchup has had a special place in my hearth and has been an event in my family for as long as ive been able to recollect, shame to see the club spiraling out of control as I would love both clubs to be battling in the top, best of luck onwards for you and your club mate, hope it turns around soon :)

Feel sorry for spurs fans and Harry , he's been one of the most loyal players since shearer and if he's not careful he's going to be finishing his career with only his england caps and a few golden boot awards . His team mates are a disgrace and Levy Conti etc .....well shambles . I still think Mourinho would have brought you success , I think bringing poch back will be a big mistake ... You need a manager in now and have promises of funds to go forward . But Conti had funds all he did was moan ..... Big names don't automatically bring success , you need an owner who has a direction a plan of where we are now where do we need to be in 6 / 12 / 18 / 24 months time . Fail to plan , plan to fail we had that for over a decade . Big names we've had a few who I don't care to mention , only one who came somewhere near was sir bobby and we had him bless him 10 yrs too late . In Eddie we have a young manager with vision to develop players , not about the money it's about having a good eye for quality players and developing and bringing the best out of what he walked into . He wouldn't be able to do that at spurs as good as Eddie is , why because spurs have now no leadership no direction and no plan .....not to mention no director of football no manager and no idea . We are going places yet if Levy doesn't get his finger out he and spurs will fall by the wayside .

Great video as usual Craig. Yes it was a victory for the management however don’t forget the ownership as well. The way Amanda and Mehrdad have built the club under Eddie has been nothing short of perfection in both pace and focus. Yes on the pitch Eddie has worked miracles and I believe will continue to do so for many years (I hope the owners encourage and support him to continue his learning journey as a coach). The reconnection with the fans started with Amanda, Mehrdad and Jamie. To see them everywhere, supporting NUFC at all events. Giving the fans time. Connecting with social media. And overtly enjoying their journey. Someone should write a book about the journey post take over (not just the on pitch journey but the behind the scenes journey). I know there is going to be a series about it but my bet is that will be superficial (hope I am proved wrong). That journey includes the fact we have professional journalists (and there aren’t many in your field I will give that title in these days of clickbait headlines) like yourself who get NUFC. Keep up the great work.

Joe Willock’s pass for number 4 was world class. A description totally over used but here it’s spot on. But a shout out for Sean Longstaff. For every press breaking move from Bruno and every Worley from Willock there’s 20 simple balls from Sean because he makes us work. I thought we’d won the game when the Brentford Villa result came in. That showed it wasn’t that villa were good it was us that were poor and because of that we can fix it and you have absolute confidence that this Newcastle United will do just that. Looking so much to work today and the Spurs fans - the worlds most entitled fans - it will be good!

The cut back in the box for goal 5 was outstanding Joelinton's first touch for goal 2 was sublime Murphy's facial expression after goal 3 was front page material Isak's finishing is at the point where you just expect him to do it every time. And then the options on the bench for goal 6 ( did I just say goal six ) We all know there's money for more players but who deserves to be dropped to second string or worse ? A fantastic dilemma for Eddie Howe Money works in two ways . 1) spending on new players 2) motivating the players you have to play their arses off to keep a place in a team that's going places

Very impressive today. Top 4 for Newcastle , and then it will be interesting to see what the club does over the summer break , with the Chelsea model proving to be the way how NOT to do it. Eddie looks secure in the job, having brought in good pros and no overpaid Prima donnas. It looks like a well-sorted outfit, the complete opposite of Spurs / Chelsea

What I liked about Eddie Howe is how he managed the not so fancy squad so well trained,well drilled in every department.. To say that Joelinton,Wilson,Guimares , Almiron , Isak,Trippier and co are our star players is not at all fancy but they are for us.. Wilson missed good chunk of games,Almiron stepped up,Isak got injured just couple of games after his debut,Wilson came back scoring,now most of them are for, Isak is scoring... Everything is going in the right direction.. UCL here we come

All the goals had such variety. Down the wing, through the middle , long balls over the top , defence splitting long ball with the assist of the year, belter from 30 yards

Great. Video and excellent points made like always. There is alot of media who will try to put it down to spending even though we spent nothing in 14 years which led us to be miles behind top clubs but Eddie has turned around so many player's and we spent great last few windows. Exciting summer ahead , can see alot of youth snapped up with ashworth putting good team in background

I was there yesterday what an unbelievable 21 minutes. That was the reaction Eddie Howe wanted and then some. I actually felt really sorry for the travelling Spurs fans that team had no organisation. Mind fair play to Harry Kane - 88 minutes in and 6-1 down and he was still chasing every ball.

It's not rocket science, the difference in the teams is hunger and desire. Spurs have a whiff of entitlement to them, Newcastle don't expect anything handed to them, they fight for everything. And fight as one.

Good video again, superb day & yes what a team. It will be interesting summer no doubt, talk of Barnes, Maddison & JWP ( who I’d love to see in Black n’ White) is exciting. You touched on it though, where would they play & that’s credit to Longstaff & Willock who are undroppable. You can imagine Maddison would see himself as an 1st choice. Can’t wait as this will get very interesting & rest of Premier League do need to be worried

Great report and unbiased with great honesty. Too right its a lot down to management , coaching etc and getting the best out of players we have. I seem to think 9 of the players involved yesterday where at the club prior to takeover money and current management . That alone shows your headline to be true about the money element. Great team display after a set back last week at Villa . Another factor: The crowd participation has always ben there but now back to its brilliant best now i feel after years of being served up sub standard fayre

You always need quality depth. Injuries do happen & we'll have a lot more games to manage the playing list through. But more particularly Eddie has developed the players confidence, fitness, game plan & skills. Thats the result of good man management & quality coaching. Onwards & upwards, what a ride😂

Just think, I must congratulate Howe, and his team Newcastle United, for there great season, they deserve to finish in the top four, but just think of the 4 or 5 of their players who won't be playing in the Champions league next season? The players who run their guts out all season, and gave their everything on the pitch, who will never smell a Champions league game, because next season Newcastle United will be forced into buying players, these other players from other clubs who as not qualified for Champions league football next season, these superstar players who got knocked out this year, with their clubs, but they think they deserve to play in it every year. And they wan't out of their current club, to get back into the champions league. They don't goes SHIT, about Newcastle, not there fans, but they will sign because these players need their EGOS boosted. Then the current players who have their all, where will they be. Watching from another club more likely?. Thinking about it though do you need a centre half. You can Harry McGuire.

Great craik Craig , it's not mega money both clubs have spent as a lot of other clubs have been spending around twice the money we have spent .as you say difference between us and spurs is leadership . They are in disarray from top to bottom , they're doing ok in league as a position in LGE proves that . Does this prove that the prem lge isn't as competitive ? No I think it shows that you must be in top of your game every game just as villa did to us last week . But taking that away we were absolute ruthless that first 20 mins and I think we would have done that to a lot of teams the way we played . Difference is the way we have gone forward is good takeover good direction great leadership on and off the pitch . Let's hope we go to goodison on Thursday in the same mindset and give those blue noses the same , it's always a difficult place to go to .....and let's hope we keep Pickford busy .....picking the ball out of the back of the net ....great craik Craig onwards upwards HWTL in Eddie we trust

Eddie Howe has previous (as does other 'top managers 'like guardiola). the turn around in fortures has been tied to a body of tactics that suits drug cheats (high intensity). Look at the eyes of the newcastle players when they celebrate. They look like they are on something. The odd off cycle day, when the whole team is off all at hte same time (against villa last week). Evidence of slight dodginess from the new owners - basically blackmailing the british government into making the takeover bid accepted. Why are you so sure it is crap talk? It aint just newcastle. Liverppol and City have been doing it too. Maybe others as well. Bournemouth did it under Howe, that is a fact.
