I believe it 100%…..if you’ve ever driven a G body with the stock 305 (even the “HO”) or 307 Olds you’d know that even this sad display is lightning fast compared to what those cars came with stock. The way that front end pulled up while he was on it….no stock 80’s G body, even the fabled GNX, will do that. The Challenger could have been a 5.7 or 6.4…..it was just bad driving.

You got a valid point however what is restricting the Buick is his exhaust setup and probably a stiffer suspension w/new motor mounts. Thar Buick woud be WAY faster! It definitely needs a stronger fuel pump. I had a stock 73 Rivi 454/4B and that's how it sounded out the gate@J.R.in_WV

@@w.e.s. I’ve always loved them irocs.. hellcats are pretty sweet and fun to beat on but you can’t beat the sound of a nice 383 with a roudy cam. We have a 71 nova we are building now with a wicked rude 700 horse stroker 383 right now that’s almost finished.

I did a 383 using the 6 inch rods for this engine to replace the 454 in my 1 ton Chev truck so I can say the 383 is doing fine as a hunting truck and towing engine. I kept the compression to 9.8-1 because I need a towing & hunting truck engine not a racing engine.

No way that's a 383. Sounds like junk with a different sound. That Slowpar was trying way to hard spinning at 1st. Real 383 would jump way harder and is way way faster. It would even beat a Scat Pack with ease.

You must not know to much about engines and street racing or you wasn't Paying. Attention to the video.....the chevy was put in the dirty lane...that chevy would have jumped out faster you are right but just as soon as he hit the gas he had to get right back out of the gas because he started spinning because he was in the dirty lane and the chevy probable had street ties......put that chevy in the other lane the out come would be better and that chevy would have been further out....and just because it's a 383 doesn't really mean much because I've seen Blueprint engines have anywhere from 350 hp to 650 hp it just depends on what you want and how much you want to spend.

The shit box got the hit and a head start and the Challenger caught up to it and started passing it like nothing. If they both launched at the same time the 392 Hemi would have made that thing look like it was standing still 😂 a 40 roll would have ended so bad for the Chevy he probably would have never lined it up next to a 392 again lol

I think they were both just messing around, no way that was a 383 stroker or 6.4 scat pack. My father has a new 6.4 charger Last Call edition. That thing looks like a bottle rocket taking off. This didn’t even look like a race. More like kids playing around…but they got me to watch!😢😂
