I watched when it first aired and loved it. Last year I found it on Peacock and me and my Husband started watching it together for the first time. It was still great. My husband passed a few months ago and now I find that I play Monk often because it comforts me. It's really is a wonderful show.

RIP to All of Them. The only one I recognize as a Regular Character appearing in almost every episode of Monk is the Psychiatrist.

I didn't know Glenne Headley had died. That's sad. Makoto "Mako" Mizuno was such a great actor, and in his guest role on 'Monk' as Master Zi, he at one point had a very funny and clever moment/ dialogue exchange: Master Zi: "(Standing facing the wall as Monk and co. enter the room) A great sorrow has just entered this room." Monk: "Yeah, that'd be me."

Glenne was a beautiful woman and great actress. I heard many fans disliked the Karen character, but personally I find the chemistry between Leland and her to be very interesting, especially that they have such different contrasting personalities and values: the policeman husband and the hippie wife. May Glenne rest in peace.

We watched this show when I was growing up. We were so shocked when Stanley Kamel died. RIP to every one of them.

Any fan of monk is a friend of mine whom I greatly respect

Monk was a great show .it had, to my mind ,the best ending of any series I've ever seen. they wrapped everything up nice and tight and let's face it everyone ended up happy at the end. Was surprised about the death of Glenne Headly. Her biggest role I think was July Johnson's wife in the series Lonesome Dove.

I would have thought Stanley Kamel would have been in the number one position since he was a semi-regular who was in more than 40 episodes and the others were only in 1 or 2 episodes each.

Recently completed watching Monk series (netflix India) started watching second time.

I watch few reruns,but monk is one i will watch more than once and it still makes me laufh!

Loved Monk, please bring it back, if only repeats on the Television.

Also passing away was Nicole DeHuff the beautiful actress who murders her boyfriend and almost kills Kevin Dorfman in Mr Monk and the paperboy. She was only 30 when she died. And the great Hugh Dane who will be immortalized for playing Hank in the Office and was a similar character who administered Mr Monks reinstatement test. Im sure there are more who have passed away now....

OK, I get #5 and #6 (most Monkaphiles know #6), but #3 and #4 they never even explained the role that they played on Monk. #2 there were clips but no mention of the show. #1 got a mention of which show he was in...and Mako was truly special and will be missed. In short, MAYBE four. With apologies to the actresses profiled in #3 and #4, I don't recall them ever being on Monk, and since they weren't credited in the video their effect cannot be measured.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Monk snd Tiny Shaloub. It is somehow my type of humor! I find myself hysterical at some of those episodes. He is just wonderful! And in real life, a wonderful family man.♥️

I felt so sorry seeing and being known for what has been happened. I was so glad following Monk with all season in Italy.

This made absolutely no sense . The only two recognizable Monk actors were Stanley Kamel and Glenn Headley. The others were just background players and weren’t significant Monk characters.

“Top 6 Actors Who Died From Monk” is a gross exaggeration to lure viewers. Most here are minimal characters at best

I was only recently introduced to Monk. It has some incredibly imaginative writing and the quirky tainted hero makes the atory lines "different". Whoever conceived this is/was a genius. It launched in 2002 and after 8 sessions, 127 episodes, it hadd achieved Eight Emmies, one Golden Globe and I had never heard about it! I have barely finished the first session. I'm hooked.

I am currently binge watching Monk. Cozi TV runs 3 episodes a day, 5 days a week. It's an entertaining show. I never saw it before but I've now seen seasons 6, 7 and 8 and now half way on season 1.

I am not quite sure if you understand how a countdown is supposed to go, but you typically count down from the least significant character to the most significant character when putting this type of countdown together. That would mean that actors that were guest stars with only 1 appearance would be closer to the bottom of the list and the bottom of the list is the actor you mention first; in this case, that would be spot #6. Given that the person you mentioned in the sixth position was one of only two characters on the show that were more than a one-time guest star, those two actors should have been mentioned in the #1 and #2 positions, respectively. While it is nice that you put this montage together, you are supposed to bury the lead just a little bit when you do a top # of people compilation. That being said, Monk is one of my all-time favorite television shows, and I am sure the cast and crew that worked hard making such a great show are grateful for your kind tribute.
