In this compilation video, we go over multiple clips from bear attacks, encounters and even charges. What makes these ''caught on camera'' moments so scary is the fact that they were filmed in remote areas like a forest, national parks, alaska, russia and canada.
We feature a clip where a hunter gets attacked by a black bear in Northern Ontario, a man has a black bear visit his porch, a woman gets bluff charged by a black bear, hunters bear spray 2 bears in the face, skiiers in romania get chased by a brown bear and tourists in Alaska get very close to a mother bear with her two cubs.
Encounters with black bears, brown bears and even kodiak bears are actually way more common than you might think. They often happen to people who are hiking, camping, mountain biking or even hunting.
It just turns out that some of them were lucky enough to capture footage of these near death experiences that almost went wrong on camera and go pro. This leads to some very creepy videos.
Thankfully, many people on hikes carry bear spray, which prevents their bear encounter from turning into ''gone wrong'' viral moments.
Get ready, because these bear vs man moments that could easily be considered near death experiences are sure to give you the chills.

She's not weird, she just knows bears. Black bears are 1,000x less of a threat than a loose dog. They're curious and playful unless their cubs are involved or they're in a desperate situation. I've chased one myself. I've grilled while one ate wild lettuce from the yard. We eyed each other up, agreed that neither of us were a threat, and carried on with our business.

Black bears aren't really all that dangerous unless they are protecting cubs.. Brown (grizzly) bears on the other hand.. They will maul you just for the fun of it.. My buddy had an orphaned black bear cub that he raised and returned to the wild.. It was exactly like having a big puppy.. He followed my buddy around everywhere.. He would jump on your lap and lick your face.. He loved playing fetch and chasing balls.. Animals are a lot smarter than we give them credit for..

I'm going to guess that since the bears encountered the humans and not the other way around, mama bear knew those humans were there so she wasn't startled. And since everyone stayed calm, mama was probably like "it's ok, kids. We can keep going, just don't look at the humans too much. They're unpredictable. ".

I feel responsible of dismissing what you presented about the Romanian "tourist". He is a ski instructor and he wasn't afraid at all. In that area bear encounters are happening on a daily basis. The guy just attracted the bear away from his group. He was unbelievable calm and knew exactly how to stop the bear. Please search for the whole video where you might also have translation. He was calling the bear "you silly" and always stopped when the bear was charging him and was too close. He used a calm voice, used he's poles and body gestures to stop the bear when it was too close. And he also used he's skills to ski backwards so he can face the bear when needed. On that day he avoided a possible tragedy as there were many people on the slope that can't handle a bear encounter. The other video with that woman was quite risky...is good that she knows about bears behaviour, but you use that when they are approaching. Under no circumstances you get close to a bear like she did. And when the bear is eating...that's plain stupidity.

I believe the instructor had a group of mostly children, which is of course why he baited the bear into chasing him. Good call on his part. This is typical social media distortion that takes a real event and presents it with a completely false context. Same with the hunters in the tree. The second bear appears "and that's when things take a truly horrifying turn" ... Yes. If by "truly horrifying" you mean the hunter used bear spray to scare off the animals. Maybe this channel has a different definition of "horrifying" than the rest of us.

I recall the documentary about that dude who spent 15 summers or something in the Alaskan wilderness. He had absolutely no fear of them and would go right up to them sometimes and shoo them away. It's like people think they can somehow take the wild out of a wild animal. You can't. Unarmed, against many animals, humans are prey. Certainly against a bear, a human is prey. Any human who thinks, unarmed, he isn't prey among bears, is bound to discover the truth eventually.
@johns7530
@johns7530 2 жыл бұрын
@@petedavis7970 This is true of course. But what was interesting about the documentary was that the guy had no fear, I mean zero. And despite any bear being able to kill and eat him if it attacked him, because of his lack of fear, they responded to him differently. For many years. It was not like one or two encounters that he survived. It was probably hundreds. Maybe the bears were like "what the fuck is wrong with this dude", I don't know! But there was something very cool about how they responded to his fearlessness, even if he ultimately met his demise. RIP Grizzly dude, lol!

@@johns7530 I'm aware of the story. And he eventually discovered that, even though they allowed him to live all those years among them, that he was, in the end, prey. I mean, yeah, it's cool. Up until you get eaten, I guess. But it's definitely not the key to long life.

@@petedavis7970 LOL definitely not the key to a long life, can't argue with that. I had a big mama bear at my screen door last summer destroying my bird feeder. It had 3 cubs in her wake - zero fear of people and no amount of yelling and pot banging was going to put her off. If I got between the bear and the bird seed she would have attacked me. That imbecilic woman provoking the bluff charge - is going to get herself killed one day.

Me and my family were on a vacation in the Canadian Rockies and the place we went to had a huge outdoor pool. One time we went swimming and people gathering around the railing. (It was built on a steepish hill) so we went to check it out and there was a younger black bear (not an adult or a baby) munching on some apples just staring up at everyone. It was honestly super cute!

I’ve been living in my wooded area for 18 yrs. (Northern Ontario Canada) I always had bears in my yard or passing by. Last yr there weren’t any berries (wild blueberries 10 km from hone). I never seen so much bears in my yard that summer 2021. I was face to face with different bears twice & they ran away. Thank gawd. I also have pics & vids. They seemed to be comfortable at my place & were eating grass & always too near from my windows & decks. I find they were too friendly. Some neighbours killed few of them. I feel bad cause my house is on their territory I’m aware of that. Spring is coming soon & I think they’ll be back & hungrier. What do you think?

I’ve been one of the first on scene at two bear mallings. Once by a black bear and one by a grizzly, both people survived. It’s pretty intense when a young woman has just had her butt cheeks eaten by the mouthful and her leg flesh ripped off in strips and was fully conscious throughout the experience.

These people, except the 2 who understood bear behavior-the woman who explained bluff charges, and the man who used pots and pans-the other 3 asked for what they got. The tourists did what was correct too. Giving her and her cubs room, without appearing as a threat. You never run, or ski, away from a bear-or any predator-their instinct is to hunt/chase after perceived prey. You run, you become prey. Simple.

Sapper: Good day! You are most correct stating this. Bears are unpredictable and even bear experts and veteran bear hunters will acknowledge this. When in their environment a person must always be alert and cautious (extremely so). When I served in combat in Vietnam back in the day, one must always scan their surroundings and beware of danger. When bear are around one must always expect the unexpected. Also, one should always have and be trained with a firearm. The firearm should be of a caliber that will "do the job." Bears react differently to being shot and their senses are different than a human. Take care!
