I gotta give you credit for coming to the westside when most tourist don't come out this side which is why you see the tourism drop off lol. And props for saying waianae correctly! Lol

Great video! Have you been to the stairs to heaven one? Wondering if you didn’t like it as much as the ones you mentioned or if you didn’t know about it. I’ll be coming in April and that’s the one that keep popping up. But maybe it isn’t worth it? Thanks for the videos and the tips 🤙🏽

It’s not a legal hike and you can be fined and face jail time if you’re caught. You have to trespass on private property and there’s apparently a security guard that patrols the area. I’ve never been there, but I saw it on IG or YT and have researched it a lot because it looked so amazing.

@@BuckeyeTiffany along with the legal issues you stated there are moral issues. It's part of a religious site, so visitors are desecrating a sacred location.

One of my favorite was Tantalus trail, going up behind where I lived in Makiki. I was there in the '70s, but it seems that there was a hike people did that was a multi-day experience following The Ko'olau range along the center of the island. I don't see any reference to that in the stuff I find online.

Hi there, question: if you're thinking of doing a waterfall jump where do you leave your things?
@johanssonfilms5 жыл бұрын
We just left them to the side of the river near the waterfall, if you're worried about theft, you could always hide your stuff behind trees or bushes
@misterle70263 жыл бұрын
leave your valuables on the base of the waterfall, people there are very trusty folks. And tourist will not steal.

just so you know: 'Ho-no' is not pronounced 'Ha-na'.... there's also the hawaiian word for 'turtle', which is 'ho-nu'... oh - five different kinds of pine trees grow (introduced from North America) in Hawai'i...
