Moreover, if you had the thing sitting in front of you, wouldn't it be natural to try pulling up just to see if the thing bounced? It would take me about fifteen seconds to give it a shot that way.

Inside Aj Austin i had 2 of those. it is good until it brake.. i can see it perfect if i would find same but metal. the plastic blades falls of and leave big pieces inside..

But you either eat them untoasted or you have to toast them separately. Why not just use a sandwich grill that fits the whole square sandwich and doesn't require butter.

the diablo is something we call a jaffle iron in australia. somewhat intended for use on open fires when camping and the like. they come square shaped for compatibility with square loaves.

You used the third gadget in a wrong way, you had to grab the black thing and lift it, holding the spring, then let it go and warch ti breaking the nuts, sorry for the bad english😅

that garlic grinder uses the same design as a vodka infuser I saw. the attached it to the bottom of a bottle and you grind the fruit and it infuses into the vodka through a strainer. really cool

I really like that spill resistant cup, When I have a little (or a lot) too much to drink I have a tendency to knock over everything. With this I may not have to bring out the carpet cleaner hungover the next day.

The egg shaper/moulds are actually pretty nice. Add some soy sauce afterwards and you see the texture even more. I love them for Bentos

diablo: ooold gadget in a new shape... but I prefer the old one: it was SQUARE... & SO NO WASTAGE & with delicious crunchy crusts, & no toxins from the non stick coating

In Pennsylvania, United States, we call the Diablo a 'mountain pie maker.' They are really good for when you go camping, because you can put it right in a camp fire. Also, you can experiment with different fillings. Marinara sauce and cheese for a pizza filling. Any kind of pie filling can be put in as well. I actually never thought to use it on a gas stove.....

The Diablo is a Jaffle maker you can get really heavy iron ones made for camping they are also delicious with spaghetti on the inside

Fellow Readers: Since I wrote my opinion of the Diablo sandwich gadget, I read many more of your opinionsregarding it. Whenever a creative cook is doing anything in the kitchen there is most usually a way not towaste remains of any foods. Most opinions remarked regarding the wasted bread cut from the mold. I did state in my last comment, use your imagination. That can be applied to leftovers here and elsewhere.Yes, there is the leftover bread that is cut off but it shouldn't be wasted. You can scramble and egg, tossthat remaining bread into your egg mixture with any tasty flavors to your liking, the result; pieces of French Toast!!Question here: Has anyone who wondered what to do with those corners of bread, heard of Bread-Pudding??And as far as you - How To Make Sushi; I do hope you are receiving some gratuity from the makers. You put a lot of time into your work to show us new things and new ideas. You are giving us entertainment and knowledge.THANK YOU!!

Ok sorry but other than for a kid why would you care about shaped eggs? The diablo waste a lot of the sandwich, burnt the edges of the bread...The nut cracked was cool though and the garlic grinder is super nice.

I'm sure you've heard this, but for the nutcracker, instead of pushing it down, you should try pulling the handle then releasing. The tension of the spring will crack open the walnut with less effort and sore palms. :)

How To Make Sushi I'm in my 40s however I stayed at a family's Bach which is basically a little cabin In the middle of nowhere with no electricity or plumbing etc. and all the families that part owned it left stuff like this there. generations of stuff. admittedly it was not nonstick and might not have been 70 years, but it sure didn't look too new when I was a kid either.

you could of course revisit ye olde sushi videos, make a larger video as part of a "how to make sushi DVD". I bet it would sell. And showing how to make rice again could make the old subscribers frown, but maybe some new hits would come in from new viewers searching the topic...
