Instead of wiping off the mascara and wasting it that way, try pushing the wand to one side of the tube as you are pulling it out of the tube, and that side of the wand will have less mascara on it, while the excess will be left in the tube for future use :P

I do exactly that but I turn the wand around against that side of the tube so the whole wand (not just one side) has less mascara on it.

When the mascara gets dried out, just run it under super hot water for a few minutes. Keep the lid on! The heat from the water will re-liquify the mascara. Makeup is over priced as it is, we don't need to toss it the second it gets dried out. Some formulations are prone to dryness. I learned this a long time ago from reading Cosmo lol!

My lashes are naturally so curled that when i curl them with a lash curler it just looks ridiculous because they "stand" completely upwards in a right angle :D looks so unnatural on me but it suits you really well. ^^

Hack- you should wait for the mascara to dry on your eyelid before you wipe it of or put concealer on it

What are your tips to make sure your foundation does not come off from your nose area?

I use small amount of foundation on my nose ( less than what I would apply on my cheeks or chin,etc.) and I always make sure to set it with some powder :)

Primer! Also lots of powder and using products with lots of pigment (high coverage foundation and / or concealer)

Katie I thanks girl! I always use primer and powder to set it in place but there are times it just comes off within a few hours. I'm guessing maybe it's the foundation. I think I'm gonna need a waterproof foundation. Hahaha. 😅

can you please make a video in where you teach us how to make a dramatic smokey eye and not using any false eye lashes...I have a terrible allergy with false eye lashes , even when I use latex free glue,my eyes can not take them..I try many times , expensive eye lashes and affordable..same thing.. and I always feel I can not have a dramatic smokey eye, because of this.. are you up for the challenge?!!..Thanks for all your videos :)

Can you make a video with tips to prevent foundation and concealer creasing in smile lines? I have discoloration there so have to use a lot of product but it always creases :/

i've been told that applying a bit of vaseline/chapstick in that area before doing ur foundation prevents the creasing, u should try it!

bake your smile lines! there are TONS of videos on YT if u don't know what baking is. but basically u just put translucent powder on your smile lines after u apply concelaer or foundation there. put a heavy amount over the smile lines. leave it for 5 min. then wipe away. it works great! I do it everyday ...hope this helps.

any where you crease try just doing your foundation and not setting until you finish your eyes, (everywhere i crease is typically already creasing by then) smudge the creasing part out with your finger and THEN set it, baking would likely make it stand out way worse in my experience

Same. I have never had a problem with keeping mascaras for years. I don't wear contacts and I don't have sensitive eyes or allergies so that might be the difference between me being able to use mascara that is 2 years old and someone else. I also have so many mascaras that I will only use one mascara once every few months depending on the look I'm going for. I always make sure to close it really tightly and I don't pump any air into it.

+Brandi Munguia just make sure to clean the brush often it would be a shame to get some nasty germs in there I also find I have slowly adapted to how bad the mascara is getting that I don't realize how good a new one is! However to avoid this I like to sit my mascara in a hot cut of water to heat up the mascara and liquidy Just some extra tips bc I love keeping makeup past its date too :)

I just found your channel today and this was the first video that I watched. I found it really, really helpful, I kept watching more and I was completely hooked. Your make up looks are gorgeous, you are very talented, and you have a gift for explaining things in such a way that makes it easier for a beginner like me to understand. How do remove mascara from your lashes, I end up breaking my lashes even when I use makeup remover.

I would suggest you to try out another makeup remover. I like the Clinique Take the day off Balm-it removes all the makeup like dream.Also if you use a waterproof mascara,try switching to a regular one.Hope that helps xoxo ❤

I used to use coconut oil on a cotton pad and then wither a toner or micellar water to get rid of the oil xx

coconut or baby oil, don't use a lot over your face because of it being oil. they are good for removing makeup but if your face is already oily I wouldn't recommend. but removing mascara especially if it's water proof the oil will break it down better with less tugging on the eye

Put some coconut oil on them and rub gently in circular motions until the mascara melts off, it will condition and moisturise your eyelashes as well as remove the mascara, then just wash your face with your regular facial cleanser :)

adding a little bit of olive oil to a cotton ball or q-tip works for me, a drop should be enough. if you're using mascara that says on the bottle to use oil based makeup remover, this is an inexpensive and more natural way. just be careful not to get any oil on the eyes as it can make sight a little blurry temporarily due to the slime texture of the oil
