Join myself and ‪@toshselfpropelled‬ as we run the West Branch of the Spanish River from Biscotasing all the way to Agnew Lake. This was truly an action packed adventure full of epic whitewater, gorgeous campsites and trophy fishing moments… all captured under the stunning fall colours of early October.
Be sure to check out Tosh’s perspective of this adventure on his channel: • Backcountry Camping on...

Rapid sequence beginning at 25 minute mark has us viewers sitting in the bow facing Ben and we can almost read whats coming up next by the changes in the expressions on his face. You'd almost think this was digitally altered to erase the wipeout scenes. Absolutely incredible! A natural.

Thanks for sharing your canoe Ben. A fun trip to do and watch. You handled the rapids nicely and accompanying music was spot on. Looks like you took Train 185 out of Sudbury that runs to White River. The last one of its kind (self propelled) in North America. Take care, be safe and keep your paddle in the water:) PS. You almost had to do that trip solo. Glad the train stopped for Tosh.

Awesome video. That was a great pike to land from shore. I took the same train from Sudbury this past summer up to Turnbull Creek and paddled around to Indian Lake and got the train out from Bisco. I was surprised how many canoes got on in Cartier, there must have been at least 12. We were the only canoe to start in Sudbury. It's great that the train is still an option. The run to hope the train looked like it could have went bad, glad that worked out.

I enjoyed every minute and can't believe how warm it was in Canadia in October! Although, for context, we just had a record day on the Front Range of Colorado, around 70. Beautiful yellow forest and looked like a few tough rapids, too. I was curious about the nighttime temps? Lookin forward to the next one and will be checkin Tosh's stuff.

I really enjoyed this video Ben. Loved seeing your excitement on the open water. I still haven't done much white water so this was fun to see. Great to see you out there with Tosh. I haven't had the fortune of meeting him yet but he seems like a good dude. Your filming is getting awesome. Thanks for sharing.
