Hi, diamond painting friends! Today I’m stopping in to share 6 tools for diamond painters who must have it all! I have really enjoyed collecting the items I’m going to show you today, and while not strictly essentials, all of the fun goodies in this video are things I use and enjoy on a regular basis.

Genius to use the dryer sheets in the vacuum. Nothing worse than having to scrape the spilled drills from the vacuum. Hot tip, make sure the bottom is securely on, bc I've had more than a few incidents where it flew off and shot drills back at me.

Love that cute little vacuum! If only it could pick up drills that get spilled on the sticky canvas! Lol Yes, that’s happened to me a few times. 😅

Half the fun of crafting is collecting alllll of the accessories! “A pen for every canvas” you say? That’s my philosophy too 😂 Along with a matching tray, coverminder, and PaddyWaxx brick... Thanks for sharing! This was fun!!

Newbie here, when I got a new pen. Wow!!! It helps so much same with a big tray. A straightener love them!!! Very undervalued in my humble opinion!!! All of the tools you mentioned are great and increases the heady enjoyment of this craft!!! I just wish people wouldn't be elitist with this craft. If you can't afford to buy the right canvases than maybe you should find another hobby people. Not everybody can do that at this time. Maybe being accepting of all people would be nice dispite their bank account would be good. Just my humble opinion but, doing this isn't good for any craft. 😷😎😷

Thanks!! I agree totally - pens are completely life-changing!! For me, I think the integrity of the licensing is way more important than the brand name. 🥰 There are so many great public domain and less expensive licensed pieces out there to enjoy, and they’re totally lovely and easy to access at a lower price point. 🥰 My favorite canvas ever was a 60x80 custom that cost just over $30. I cut rivers out of that sucker day and night, but I totally love her. ❤️

Cover minders and Washi Tape are my favorite diamond panting accesories to collect. I love to match them to my paintings. I love Jim's pens. I recently purchased one of his hybrid bloom blank pens. I can't wait to get it.

I too coordinate my pens with my canvas - it’s so satisfying and I love pretty things! I love Lazy River and Jim; I’ve only ordered from Butterfly Effect Wares once pretty recently but I was very pleased with the two pens I got from them. My absolute favorite trays are by Munimade! I placed a custom order with her and she was an absolute delight to work with, and the drills line up so neatly in her trays. I resisted cover minders for quite a while but have made up for it in the past couple months 🙈

Hi, Jayme!! I'm glad I'm not alone in my pen obsession! LOL! I need to look into Munimade. Getting custom trays with great drill spacing is actually pretty tricky, so I will definitely check her out! :) The cover minders ... oh my. Someone stop me!! LOL!

I absolutely love love my JHENVISION labs trays!! I have 3 and they are my favorite they are just the perfect size for my small hands and they just are fun! Also the vacuum be careful with static in the drills afterwards cause it will happen just to let y’all know!! I have a vacuum and it happens every time just put a piece of a dryer sheet in there and your good!! 👍🏻 anyways love your videos!! 🤗💎💜💚

Sad..that those wide special pens hurt my finger as it sits on my joint that has bad arthritis..I have a rubber wide grip for kids that have a disability..fits perfect on the regular supplied pen. Love all the rest of your goodies!!💜💎💜 I had 3 drill spills last night😂😂😂🤦‍♀️Need a drill vacuum.

Have you tried the all in one metal tip from Everlasting Tips on etsy? I adore them in my turned pens. Also i love Pens by Maggie on Etsy. Gonna look for a dp vaccum now.

Hi, what a very useful video. You cleared up a lot of the nitty gritty questions that I have about half a year or so into DP. This is a great break from all of the unboxing videos I see on so many channels. This video was short and sweet and super helpful. Thanks for the info. Is it possible for you to make a video on specific ways to use the dotz glue? I had to spot treat one space on the canvas, and it formed a pool and I had a hard time figuring out how to apply it carefully. Also, does the tray plug fit all trays? Universal? I have so many shake and spills, lol.

Bigger trays and better comfortable pens are ESSENTIAL if you're going to do this for any length of time. It was one of those moments for me after I had done 3 paintings I think with the same toolkit, wax too, from my first painting! Why did I wait?? Trial and error later I think I have my tools. Not that I won't get more. Lol we can always justify just one more!
