How to take care of your batteries on an electric motor golf cart. How do you put water in them. How to put water in when they are all hooked up together. How do you clean. Just general stuff on batteries please.

Lol i just got 14" rims with the 23" tires x 10 i hope it fits with the 6 inch drop lift kit im about to install tomorrow

What lift kit would you suggest for a txt to have help with a bump cart path ? Need a more comfortable ride if you have any suggestions. Thanks

TXT carts are a tough one. Most of the lifts out there are drop spindle or drop axle which don’t really provide much of an upgrade in the comfort department. Any bumps or vibrations are sent through the carts suspension and frame. (Unlike Club Car and Yamaha that have a-arms design to help bring more comfort) When it comes to EZGO TXT carts there is a jakes long travel lift kit and a 7” RHOX BMF lift kit that are pricey but do have a more intricate set up. The RHOX can be stiff from what I’ve heard from our customers but it does beef up your front end substantially.

I've got a drop axle on my 2013 EZGO TXT 48 Volt. It feels like the cart is "swaying" while driving it. Almost like the front axle is kind of sliding laterally and it causes the cart to veer left/right on its own. Any thoughts on components I can check or replace?

Thanks for the comment! And great question. EZGOs don’t have a great a-arm designed light kit at this point. The main design is the drop axle lift and it’s fairly “economy” as far as price point and what you get. It’s not going to enhance the quality of ride like your experiencing but simply will give you the lift you need for clearance or to fit the larger tires and wheels. The only other real option is the drop spindle. Those have their cons as well. I don’t know if any steering components that you can replace but checking connections to make sure all is right is a good idea of course. I’ve definitely felt that “sway” before on the lifted EZGO but I’ve also experienced it in a lifted wrangler 😂

Which lift specifically is this in the video and are those 25" tires?

That is the EZGO TXT drop axle lift kit with the 12” Stallion Gloss Black wheels and 25x10-12 Kenda Terra Trac K502 All Terrain tires! They look amazing and may require some 1” spacers to bump them out from rubbing in your frame.

We just put a 4 inch drop axel lift on our 99 ezgo and now the tires scrub when making a turn. How could we stop that? We have 22 inch tires on. Thanks so much!

How do you figure out what year/model you have? I have an EZGO and I think it's a TXT, but that is all I know...

EZGO can be a little bit tricky because their serial number system isn’t as straight forward as Yamaha or a Club Car. There are some body design elements that indicate which year range or model it may be from as well as some other unique features. Ultimately it’s fastest to send a couple of clear images of your cart from 2-3 different angles to sales@golfcartstuff.com requesting what cart model and approximate year you have. Including your serial number or manufacturers code will also help!
