I have made a few Town Square quilts. I make a lot of quilts with Gnome fabric, so I like the patterns with big squares. I just finished making 2 of your free pattern quilts. The Triangle one and Easy blocks.They were so much fun. I don't like half square triangles but I got it done. It was so easy. I am planning my next 4 already. You have motivated me to use up fabrics I have had for years.

I'm with Hannah, my goal is to not duplicate a pattern - one and done -always changing and doing something new :)
@carlindatrenholm65864 ай бұрын
That is my goal as well ladies. Out of curiosity I added up the number of books (20) with 8 in each book for 160 patterns and 76 individual patterns makes 236 patterns. I didn’t take into account that each pattern has 3 different sizes so that makes 708 😮😮🎉

Wow! It is amazing how many ways you can design 3-yards of fabric to make clever quilt designs!

I have spent the last 2 days cutting out 10 kits that I either ordered from y’all or cut from my stash. Now I have to get busy sewing! It’s so great to have your quilts on hand (especially all finished) when I need a special gift!
@cherylwilliams424 ай бұрын
Do you find it easier to cut all ahead of time? I’ve thought about doing that because I have SO MANY kits that it paralyzes me. I’ve wondered about just cutting them all first. It might take a load off of my mind. It would almost be like ordering pre-cut kits. 😊

I’m in a group with 10 - 12 women at church and most of these are going there for us all to work on. We will use them as needed. If I personally need one I will pay to have it quilted and if the group needs one they will do the same! We joke all the time that I need a 12 step program for fabric addicts!

One year at our quilt show I had 3 Country Lanes quilts, and each looked so different that one would really need to pay attention to notice that they were the same block. The fabric changes and how set makes so much difference. I'm currently on the "I love 9-patches" mode, I've made a double 9-patch with sashing from 2 " strips, and intend to make another with alternate blocks. In 1800's reprints I've been working on for ages I'm making 3" finished 9-patches set with bleached muslin alternate blocks.

Hi Hannah, I have the same goal for myself to never repeat a pattern in quilts I make. I want to keep trying new things and don’t want to become stuck in a rut. Glad someone else thinks the same way.

I love the Quick As A Wink Pattern Book. I used the quilt " In A Flash". I really do want to make another one because I had directional fabric and I did not turn it when I started so I used my darker purple to add 1 1/2 inches to the top and bottom of my short piece.

Roman Holiday has become my go-to pattern especially for Project Linus quilts. For some reason it is more logical to my brain and i have an easier time choosing fanrics for it.

Too many patterns to try before designating anyone as a go-to. I am starting a Town square this weekend. I like that so many of your patterns have large squares that will make use of layer cakes.
@OrlaQuirk4 ай бұрын
I had a similar idea. I don't have a layer cake, but I was wanting to use several large print fabrics on the large squares, and then a couple of complimentary fabrics with small prints. Showcase bits of several favourite Hallowe'en fabrics. That way I could use all my faves in two different quilts. So neither grandchild can complain that I didn't give him any of one particular fabric.

Hi, We will not be attending the Paducah show. We will be right here working on the two videos we release each week. Sadly, that leaves us precious little time to participate in quilt shows. Have fun at Paducah!

I am like Hannah in preferring bright colors. I just finished a fun disappearing 9 patch with a similar red and black. I love the Batik Blooms, but it is already sold out. 😢Do you ever re- release kits?
@FabricCafe4 ай бұрын
Hi, Usually, fabrics sell out quickly and limited quantities from manufacturers make it near impossible to replace a kit.
