I love that your technique is simple and the soil, stake, and fertilzer can be easily found. Best of all, your albo is doing well and thriving. Thx! I'm just going to use the same soil you're using and I already have the fertilzer.

Hello there 🌿💚! So my Monstera Albo has tripled in size since I got it. I got it with 4 leaves and now it has 12!!

Don’t you have to loosen the roots before repotting because it’s root bound?
@aGirlwithaGarden3 жыл бұрын
You can. I choose not to as I got that tip from Bryon the owner of Logee’s 🌿😉

Hey there! I have an albo that was propagated in moss, and I'm wondering if it's okay to repot directly into a soil mixture similar to yours :)
@aGirlwithaGarden3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can repot directly into soil from moss. I had a Thai constellation that rooted in moss and once there was a good root system I repotted into soil.
@vickylamb94033 жыл бұрын
@@aGirlwithaGarden thanks! Did you remove the moss from the roots before repotting?
@aGirlwithaGarden3 жыл бұрын
@@vickylamb9403 yes I removed as much as I could. Running it under water will help to remove the ones that have attached themselves on the roots.

isn't it important to break a little bit of root memory before repotting?
@aGirlwithaGarden4 жыл бұрын
I have practiced myself the method of breaking up root bound plants before repotting but after seeing Byron's video on repotting the Monstera Albo and watched his tips and methods for repotting one of these I followed the same as he did. (Byron is the owner of Logee's which is where I got this plant from)

It’s so expensive:(
@aGirlwithaGarden4 жыл бұрын
jonathan zambrano ya these variegated plants can get pricey. Heard Costa Farms will be rolling out with their Thai Monstera 2021 so that should drive the prices down substantially on the Thai monstera😉🌿.
