This week we're looking at 6 hidden gems in Thorpe Park. Aside from the big coasters, there are some cool little secrets in Thorpe Park that we love to see when we visit. If you look at the ride cars in The Walking Dead The Ride, you'll see a nice homage to X No Way Out, the previous version of this ride. Similarly, in the preshow for this ride, you'll see Jack Silkstone (TheJackSilkstone) in the video of people queueing. More cool Thorpe Park hidden gems is that they use codenames for their coasters while they're in development. Project Exodus is a good example of this. The Swarm was once known as LC12 The End is Coming.
If you visit on a sunny day, you might find Thorpe Park sun cream dispensers and water refill stations around the park. Behind Stealth, there are hidden gardens called The Sunken Gardens, which features a log from Loggers Leap used as a flower bed. Lastly, There are Thorpe Park claw machines in the Dockyard area which has graffiti all around the bottom of it which references lots of things from Thorpe Park's past, such as old rides, logos, Fright Night attractions and more.
