In this video I explain how spark@HOME can help parents. I had parents in mind when making this, but there are good practice messages within the film for early years practitioners and educators. I explain why spark@HOME was made and how using the mobile app supports the child's learning and development, underpins good mental health and future opportunities.
What I failed to say was that our research has shown that parents who have the opportunity to use spark@HOME in the way described in the video progress very well in comparison to those parents who don't engage with either sparkLINK (a portal within sparkESSENTIAL and sparkPRO; the EYFS provider's software) or spark@HOME.
More information about spark@HOME can be found on the spark early years website, in the 'your modules' section.
