Fachris Arif Rububy lots of dlc, 10/10 for real tho. Just expect to shell out a bit of money (for essential dlc, a lot for everything), or wait for ck3. On the plus side, it’s free to play for the base.

@UCvFUL0cnBXBhH12JrOGEF6A I think they said that in some cases the models do reflect on diffrent events. For example if the character is sick it will show on the model. And maybe that also goes for being wounded ect.

Automatiic men play at 1 speed at earliest start date and play it out until the end of the campaign

A more accurate map of early medieval Ireland would be covered in trees with thick old forests. I know this is just a game and so on, but it is one based heavily out of and upon reality. Ireland was only gradually transformed into how it looks now with all of its seemingly endless pastures throughout the later medieval and renaissance years, with Kings like Henry VIII overseeing massive projects to remove much of the old growth forests.

There's one thing I noticed in this video that's really bugging me: The Slavic beliefs are called "poganstvo"? Seriously? That word just means "paganism". I doubt any person following the Slavic faith called themselves "pagan".

If you look at it this way, if a Slavic king were to conquer all Slavic lands, would it be impossible for him to proclaim himself as "emperor of all Slavs"? Ivan the terrible proclaimed himself "Emperor of all Russia"

Well, im quite new this kind of games, get used to total wars rome-medieval-britain etc. and ageof stuff. And im planning to buy this game but when i look at the main screen it seems quite fuzzy and complicated, there are many side bars, down bars, characters bar to handle with, lots of actions to do. Is it easy to get used to do it or takes time, what do you guys think?

Never played any of the Crusader Kings games, I have played most of the total war games though, not sure how to feel about this game as can't control individual units, but still looks cool. Should I start with the 2nd one or wait for this?

2nd is free but this one comes in a week. Crusader kings is a lot more complicated than total war, its more of an rpg game where characters are very important.

Still not sure im going to like magically appearing army. Sort of takes away the only counter to battling a large empire. Can no longer feasibly crush a few border march lords and carpet siege down my objective before the doom stack arrives.

But the large empire can't change the rally point whenever they feel like it, so if they weren't expecting you to declare, they can't fight back as well.

@@xanderb6946 True but I will no longer be able to divide and conquer the armies of the monarch from his dukes and barons etc. etc. Which I mean when you think of it a loooot of conflicts were won in this period by smaller armies keeping a larger host from forming up together.

Can't wait for Crusader King IV in 2030. But we need to get through 30+ expansion packs and content updates first. Paradox loves to support their games I've found. :P

5:50 - Did I just see the Ecumenical Patriarch wearing the same headgear as the Pope? Isn’t that inaccurate? Thought Paradox would make the game more accurate.

Idk why this was recommended for me lol. I’ve never been a fan of this kind of gameplay since StarCraft, but I’m glad most of you are stoked for this👍🏻

It feels less complicated, or at least the UI seems less complicated and it seems more accessable than CK2.

I find it ironic that they are using O'Brien arms for the dynasty which was adopted only and after the submission to the English king...that is why it's three lions...they are taken from the lions of England (Plantagenet arms). Before that O'Brien dynasty would use a hand holding a sword on red field...the arms of Dál gCais (Dalcassians).

Joe Kerr R D they certainly don't, heraldry arrived in Britain (and Ireland) with Normans...three lions of England are Anglo-Norman In response to this comment of yours, heraldry has long existed before the Norman invasions and is recorded in early historical sources. The three lions of Milesius predates the Anglo normans

the graphics are awesome, but the ui is so complicated on the first look compared to the nicely organized one in ck2

@@xenvox724 You must not have player Imperator on release then. One of the major criticisms early on was the horrible performance.
