Broke is temporary vs poor is permanent..... mindset wise. Start with a self tax first. Why should we pay the government tax from our hard earned hours first? Tax Grayson too! .... after each pay and put it away for a high quality ROI. 👍

Keynotes I am taking from your video, Focus on getting it done, don’t get lost in work that doesn’t help you on this Be aware of opportunity cost Outsource when necessary Don’t wait for having an original idea, transform the existing ones if you have no ideas Take time to relax enough variety into your life that will make you think creative

I think it's brilliant that you change the 'scene' every 5-10 seconds to keep our attention in tact. It worked! I didn't feel like I wanted to look away from the screen and I actually absorbed the information. (Tiktok is ruining us all) Cheers xx

Solid video, what kept me broke for a long while was actually just mindset. Luckily, I read a lot when I was younger and quickly realized wealth generation was about a shift in thinking from scarcity to abundance. This is not the secret, but actually learning the value of a dollar and your time. In changing this relationship with money, the entire game change as well as my spending habits which did wonders for what do you know, my entire investment portfolio..

One of my main tasks at this point is a fake work, my manager check in daily on this and it's literally killing my 2 last brain cells. It's crazy to say that you got burnout from an easy task like bookkeeping but I feel physically sick everyday going home from work. When can corporates give people real meaningful tasks not just random shits to make people busy for 8 hours?

personally I don't buy the "fake work" part of a job at least in my experience I try to do as much as possible within the time available simply because a) the work needs doing, b) if I don't do it, it doesn't get done c) I don't want to stay back. This can and does lead to burnout but I think if someone can afford to do "fake work" then they should consider themselves in a rather lucky yet risky position because there will come a time that those who pay you realize they don't need you. Especially among software engineers I've generally only seen people who not only work consistently but work overtime, unpaid, skipping meals, social life, etc. Can't speak for other professions though.

@elcapitan6126
@elcapitan6126 Жыл бұрын
this is generally the main reason. income isn't high enough for the location + available job/income supply surrounding that location. one can skip meals, not travel, etc and still remain in a tight position due to the basics of costs of living, of which rent is a big factor these days in major cities (where the work is).
