Personally we've 3 now adult children that were traipsed around Europe in a tent or caravan to a desert island off Croatia, to Canada with tents and they are now the most amazing adults. The eldest son spent 3 years in China recently , Middle daughter is coming up for 2 years in Ottawa after living in Germany for her studies and work, the 27 year old baby is setting off for New Zealand in October. They've all got an amazing outlook on life and are extremely independent financially and open spirited. You're doing the right thing 😊

As an ex teacher I would home school my children today. Not sure why I didn't before to be honest, maybe I wasn't brave enough. But your kids are having a broader, fairer, more rounded and expansive education than any child I know at school. You should be so proud of yourselves.... and your kids x

Your children have a far more unique individual hands on tailored education and from what I've seen they are well up to speed in fact surpassed children of the same age that are in a classroom for 8 hours a day. Your children have such a variety of experiences, cultures, knowledge that some adults dont know and thats through travelling and engaging in everything you do. I think its fab and its going to become a bigger trend, I live in the u.k and i think there's a lot less people home schooling their children here compared to the U.S

I know what you mean about the gas. When we were in the mountains I really thought we were on the last drops of gas. So much so that I bought a local gas cylinder for £15 and cobbled together a pipe to backfeed the gas through our BBQ point. It worked a treat! Then back in the north of Morocco we were back to 1/4 tank! Weird. For that price though we kept the Moroccan gas cylinder as it is a fraction of the cost of gas in Europe!

Tip. We use wet wipes to clean dishes after a meal. Works well and just put dirty wipes in the bin.

Omg people keep saying about kids missing out because they are home schooled we home Ed our kids because of issues is the school and our daughter having anxiety issues it's the best thing we've ever done out kids are so much happier and probably learn more day to day skills than being in school. Good response to education question. If anything, your children are more exposed to a well rounded education. In Europe, some countries don't start formal education until aged 7. We did this with our children. My daughter has just completed an Open University degree from home schooling.

I think when it comes to education guys, you are doing the best thing for the kids. School is structured in what children learn, whereas, you guys are teaching them so much more. The only thing that i often think about when observing your amazing videos, is pipers age. She is getting older and as girls get older they do like to have stable friendships. The lack of having that bond on a regular basis will take its toll, as she will be going through changes soon and will want her own privacy and chit chats etc. Having said that, the way you guys raise your children, from observation, Piper is a very smart, humble young lady and she is meeting many new faces, she is gaining wisdom. I have an intuition that she likes art, so i think piper would benefit from finding a focus on her travels.. You could take photos Piper, draw and paint them and sell them online or even sell the photo prints of your unique adventures online, that would be cool, get your parents to help market them xx
