You missed out so many details about the Notch coalition and especially the Mapogo coalition. Kinky Tail and Mr T split from their brother's and for two years ruled the northern parts of their territory, until Kinky Tail was brutally attacked and killed by the young Majingilane coalition (all caught on film) in retaliation for Kinky Tail and Mr T killing their youngest brother. Mr T returned to his brother's and took over the pride from an aging Mkulu until he was finally killed by the Selati Lion coalition years later (all on film). The Mapogos are easily the most famous coalition followed by the Notch boys and the Three Musketeers (Scarface).

Wildclowncias was a lion hater. I just watched six animals that can defeat a grizzly bear video from one year ago and there’s multiple parts with clear lion hate and pure stupidity. The guy was part of the reason lions hate been drastically underestimated for years. He’s an idiot. His learning is way being the curve.

The Mappgos would've easily defeated the Majingilane if Mr. T and Kinky Tail didn't split from the other four lions out of pride. They had the numbers advantage and experience to outmatch the younger males and would've reigned for a few more years before the eventual decline

I could not agree more. Think about it... When they had all 6 of them, they never lost a single encounter. Not one. It wasn't until the 2 split from the 4 that they started getting defeats on their record. Watch the documentary "Brothers In Blood: The Lions of Sabi Sand". Goes into great detail of their reign and how they conquered more land than any other coalition of lions in history.

The Notch coalition is easily in the top 2 imo. They were a unique coalition a father and his sons. They were quite stable internally when all were healthy and their huge size made them formidable foes.

Kinky Tail was killed by the Majingilane lions! That move was payback after Kinky Tail and Mr T killed caught a Majingilane lion and killed him. The single prime lion put up a fight before his death. Kinky Tail was still recovering from that fight which took a toll on him. The warrior he head inside of him still went heads up with the 5 Majingilane lions. Mr T came and fought but they was too powerful! Mr T ran and Kinky Tail was pinned down taking death like a warrior. 👑

they only killed the one cuz the other 4 ran away ....they chased all 5 away 2 or 3 times before the dominant maji went to drinks after eating ...leaving the other 4 to feast a few hundred yards away...and they left him to get slaughtered thats brotherly love for you....Kinky tail was roaring for war with a thigh in his mouth ...the only reason they killed killed Kinky Tail is cuz they knew he was alone and the 2 Mlowathi were tampered with by humans

You missed a big part of the mopogo's domination of Sabi sands 🙄 when Mr T and kinky tail split up from the group and set up their own territory also they killed one of the majingi brothers and later that same night the remaining majingi males attacked and partially ate 😢 kinky tail. RIP 🙏 mapogo kings of all time

The most epic fight would've been between the Mappgos and Notch. Both are so evenly matched that it would go down to the wire

Nah they are not evenly matched, mopogos killed way more lions and thats a known fact. Due to the mopogos splitting was their downfall

@@eamparbeng Mopogos took over half of the reserve and maintained it till they had internal fights and split up, downfall was Mr T’s crazy behaviour, killing their own off spring. They could have raised males they would have grown.

@@h4b2_k66 Mr T only killed 3 cubs upon his return in 2010, in 2007 all 5 mapogo's killed Makhulu's offspring, the fact is luck was against the mapogo's for instance 5 males & 2 females from the sand river pride where killed upon request after leaving the reserve, in 2012 3 cubs died from eating a rabid dog, a snare caught one, Dreadlocks killed on order by villagers in 2010, none of the other coalitions suffered bad luck.

Marimbas were the only coalition to survive the Majingilane and Mopogo pride. They fought but survived. Lot of detail missing

They got it right with the MOPOGOS being number one.They put the selati coalition ahead off the Majingilanes who dominated the Selati coalition who stayed on top for just 2 years.The Majingilane lions stayed on top for 7 years and only old age is what killed them.For some reason some people think that the Selati coalition killed Kinky tail but they only killed Mr T and it was 4 against one.

Even though there were only two lions and rarely talked about,The DUBBA lions stayed on top for 13 years and took on multiple lions.One off them lived to 16 years and the other one lived to 17 years old.They were 2 huge lions that stayed on top longer then any coalition that i know.

The Mapogo Brothers were the only coalition to had been decimated by humans. After 3-4 years of reign in Sabi Sands, they knew that the Mapogos are single handedly driving its own race to extinction. *Dreadlocks “The Beast”* was poached. *Rasta “Leonidas”* was killed by locals. *Kinky Tail “Shaka”* was killed by the Majingilane coalition, both him and his brother were darted to sleep, KT woke up 15 minutes before Mr T and confronted the Majin. *Mr T “Satan”* was killed by the Selati coalition, after he let Makhulu and Pretty Boy escape. *Pretty Boy “Phoenix”* died of old age and TB. *Makhulu “The Godfather”* also the oldest died of old age.

Utter Nonsense .... *MAPOGO* is much more powerful than Majingilane. When MAPOGOS came back to take back their eastern territory on July 2010 and were looking for Majingilanes challenging calling them with thundery roars for many days and nights but Majingilanes kept low profile and remain hidden and didn't dare to come out to fight the MAPOGOS. Luckily for them that MAPOGOS were irritated whether by Poachers or Rangers and went back to their western territory leaving their mission incomplete. Or else Majingilane lions would have massacred by the MAPOGO Lions.

You really should have done more research for this video. What really happened with the Mapogos is far different than what you made it seem like. They had split off into two groups for about 2 years, Kinky tail was killed and Mr. T then went to rejoin the original coalition. He then killed all of the cubs and took over as the leader. Then two more disappeared seemingly without a trace so by the time Mr. T was killed, their numbers were half what they originally were and they were over 10 years old, pretty much the maximum life expectancy of a lion.

How about the two-lion coalition of the Ghost annd the Darkness that brought the construction of an important rail bridge to a temporary halt in 1890s Tanganyika when they preyed upon the workers constructing the bridge? The two were young males with immature manes as can be seen by their mounted bodies at the Chicago Museum of Natural History. They even had a Hollywood movie made about them starring Michael Douglas and Val Kilmer.

I remember when the full documentary was on KZfaq and then one day it was gone and now I can’t find it . They was so strong and smart they had a picture of all them drinking water from a lake and it was beautiful can anybody point me to that documentary please I think it was made by history channel I think pinky tail was one of there names and they had to split up and two took over certain part but when one died he went back to his other brothers and they allowed it . I miss that documentary so much please help me
