Love them all! Seahorse and Mermaid are my favorite! These really go great with my Coastal beach decor. I don't live near the ocean anymore...so my house is my reminder of the Beach 🏖️

Love them all. A little trick I have learned when filling deep boxes for florals is put grocery bags or pool noodle at the bottom then add your florals then moss. That way you don't use alot of your moss.

Love all of them I am going to try to do the mermaid with the shell this is going to be a big challenge for me I am 73 recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s but I’m going to keep going to use my hands and keep my mobility even if it takes me longer to complete my task 😊

I haven't been able to find the seahorse or shell picks, but my sister in another state found the the big castles for me and got me 2. I'm making a sea theme tree and going to paint the castle and it will be my tree topper for my guestroom.. I'm also going to take regular long leaf picks and glue shells on them to dry my own. Thanks for the inspiration

You always have the cutest DIYs! My entire bathroom is coastal but it’s small so unless I take down my current decor and do new, idk if I could make new coastal crafts. Unfortunately I live in NW PA so we are still getting a little snow 😕 but once nicer weather hits I’m using my new coastal D Tree items 😊

If you mod pod get the burlap and let it dry first it’s easier to cut. But I do love all your DIYs they are very original! Keep them coming, loving the coastal!

These are so cute. I you had put a thick layer MP on the mermaid, lay down the burlap sheet then cover again a thick coat of MP. Let dry over night then with exacto knife or blade and cut arpund the form. The edges would be solid with no frays or pull offs. Just a suggestion. 😃

You never cease to amaze me! Your creativity is amazing! For the mermaid tail with burlap it might be easier to mod podge the burlap on and then trim around it.

I loved everything you made! You have very good taste. I would love to see your home and see how you decorated it. I have a beach themed bathroom, and have some sand from the beaches of Ocean City, MD. And from Sarasota Florida. And I have lighthouses around the bathroom, shells and that Anchor on the wall, like yours was.

I've got all the new stuff but am still waiting on the wood board mermaids (which I've seen on your and others' hauls) and to see if last year's colored fish come back (I got the plain chunky ones for this year) Love the mermaid's jute hair (that's what my wavy hair looks like when wet - lol) but I think the box is my favorite. I love the silhouettes on the plaques but wasn't sure what to do with them - now I am!!

The mermaid and shell is my favorite DIY and this is the best mermaid you've made tus far. She's gorgeous and that hair OMG that truly was genius. All your projects are are so well done. On your mermaid and seashell DIY.... would it have been easier to glue her down first to the burlap, then cut her out?

I glued it cut fine . I used the mermaid burlap and the waist to the tail.😊

Something else that might work…after you outline it on the burlap, go over the edges your going to cut with Fray Check. I know it works great on the edges of my counted x-stitch projects.

@@GabyPerea, I’m not sure if it does?? But I know when I put it on the cut edges of Aida cloth for counted x-stitching, it works great!!! It’s worth a try anyway
