Thank You so much Dr.Harnet as it is very difficult to transverse the different African nations that will be stable and be able to deliver if you want to do business with them, as Africa and Africans need so many things that the rest of the world has and wants to have trade and business, but i am not sure to real estate there. You mentioned Zanzibar but I understood that only Tanzanias can own land. How might a foreigner buy land in Zanzibar?

The law has been changed in Zanzibar, foreigners can now buy land & properties.

I would also target not only islands but also coastal lands, properties specially off plan properties offering flexible payment plan. Places like Diani, Watamu, Mombasa in Kenya. And i would also recommend to target the high end off plan properties at the earliest stage of the project. I noticed something in my previous stay in Nairobi, thereare tons of buildings under construction, mainly targetting the middle class with unit around 4-6 millions shillings. These pleiade of offers brings down the rental cost (furnished or unfurnished units). My airbnb owners even considering to shift her Airbnb strategy fin the acquisition of these properties.
