I even took the storage chest out of my house because it’s more handy! Though if you have another chest of that type (purchasable not the craftable chest) they share the same inventory which I was sad about at first because I desperately needed more storage but then I realised it’s actually great because you could place one in every biome and one in your house to access that shared inventory anywhere (kinda like a Minecraft Ender Chest if you’re familiar with those)

My switch crashed and all my stuff in my chest disappeared

@@carinproud434 It's been awhile so apologies if I miss something: Go to your mailbox to collect the founder's pack rewards. You should get a bunch of moonlight. Go to the menu and go to the "event" tab. Go down to "Rewards" and click on "Buy Currencies". Use all your moonlight to buy the star coin thingies. Look through the battle pass thing and redeem all the tiles that give you moonlight. Use that extra moonlight to buy more start coin thingies. Now use the star coin thingies to buy the rest of the rewards you want.

You have to get them to level 10 and complete their quest line.

why is it best to grow there? Do you get more yeild?

@@chiarra644 I don't know if you found out why, but someone else commented that crops grow faster in the biomes you get them from. I'm assuming this is what they meant as well, but I don't know if it's true. I haven't looked into it, I've just been reading other comments haha.

@@britthyli4796 I finally opened my game up after getting back from vacay and I have noticed that in the meadow (where I'm growing all my crops,) the seeds you buy there all have arrows next to them pointing up while the others don't, so maybe it is true. I'm going to give it a try.

This may seem REALLY obvious, but make sure your Switch is set to the correct date and time. Mine wasn't (because I was doing time travel in ACNH). I couldn't see the current event, but as soon as I changed the date/time to what it's supposed to be...BAM, it was available to me. So obvious now.

You get them at level 22. I just got them. =)

It's part of leveling your personal character if you haven't found out already. Max level is 40, and you get rewards the whole way. 2 of them being wings.

You have to set your switch in the actual time. No time traveling. Maybe you have to restart your game after cloud serving. Because you wont be able to harvest herbs anymore. I have the same problem because I realised my time on the switch is Nov 2023.

@@TheNanaSprinkles were you able to get it to allow you to harvest crops. I was on the wrong time because of a different game and went back to the correct date so the cloud save would work (it does now) but now I can't harvest crops.

You get seaweed by fishing in any kind of water. Just make sure you do NOT cast into the bubbles/circles. Occasionally you'll also get cod this way but mostly seaweed.

You can actually catch seaweed from fishing anywhere in the ocean that’s not one of the circles with bubbles. You can catch seaweed and cod this way. Bring your fishing buddy and you can get a lot of seaweed pretty quickly.

A tip for catching seaweed more often than fish is to fish in the sand bars/ shallow water you can walk on- on the beach. Gives better chances of getting more seaweed

It's a bit faster to cook on the regular stove outside than it is to cook in the restaurant

moving everything together makes it less of a chore because then you don't have to go everywhere to get things, just one spot and it gets it done quicker

@@chiarra644 It makes it into a brainless activity of clicking on stuff at a place of harvest spots, instead of moving around and getting immersed in Dreamlight Valley...

@@richardkutsera4992 you still have to move around and collect things from the biomes, not to mention you can decorate it and just take strolls. I like having orchards and easily get just as immersed. I'm also not a fan of the original placement of some of the trees and bushes. Also, the crops are better planted in their own biomes, so you still have another reason to go to all the biomes. I'm not shaming, if you like having the trees in their original placements, then great. But you shouldn't be shaming people for wanting to have all their stuff in one area either. I for instance still like keeping my banana and coconut trees on the beach because that makes sense to me. However I love the idea of mini having a lemon and cherry tree orchard just outside her house.
