@@ethanmann5231 but they won't, because without interest, a monthly $50 would take 83 years to accumulate to $50k, and it would still take the majority of that time with interest because anyone who promises any riskless investment even approaching a two digit yearly interest is pushing a fraud scheme. meanwhile if you actually saved it in dollars, and we assume a slightly pessimistic yearly inflation rate of 3% (I hear central banks nowadays normally aim for 2%), you would start losing more purchasing power than the $50 per month after $25,000, and by the time you reach $50k, the savings (without adding $50) would be losing the equivalent value of $100 per month.

@@Ass_of_Amalek Why do you need a riskless investment? Almost all investing has risk. You can regulate your exposure to risk with bonds but the S&P 500 has averaged around 10% since it's inception.

The point is that if you invest a small amount like 50$ each month. And you keep saving while the money keep on growing. It will grow and become 50.000 if the stock market grows for ~8-12% each year. Of course it's not near fast cash. But in 20-30 years you'll be there. And yes, if you decide to save more then just 50$, the money will just grow even faster.

No, they're right. Realistically, that's not really possible in this point in time. When I was taking business class they taught us to remember with time comes change. It's like gambling at the end of the day too. No matter how good or bad the investment is just that's not possible. Even if you put the research into investment. It's never the same.

You can turn $50 into $50,000. How? By investing that $50, or even less, in yourself. Use it to learn a valuable skill that can increase your income over time. Whether it's a book, a mini-course, or any resource that teaches you a skill to practice and master, investing and believing in yourself pays dividends. It's about committing to the journey, being patient, and understanding that there are no shortcuts to getting rich quickly. Financial wealth is just one aspect; we must also cultivate mental wealth. Those who are financially rich but mentally poor often end up back where they started, losing it all. However, those who are financially and mentally rich are the ones who build generational wealth.
