Loving your ideas. For off the shoulders... I fold in half and cut the same way. Distress with a serrated knife is perfect. It cuts any distresses at the same time... love it

Love the Pin design idea. Another way to consider washing the sweatshirt is by putting it in something like a pillowcase you can add a few drops of your detergent inside with the SS. Then place a simple knot in it where you haven't locked yourself out, lol. You can then place the pillow case containing the SS in the laundry along with its peers. I have a special pillowcase for all of my special wear I find my stuff last a bit longer. Appreciate your share.

I love the black and red one ... I have a grey hoodie I want to get creative with that has a College's name on the front ... I think I'll try this with red ... Don't think it will look quite as good as the Red and black combo ... But I think I'll like it well enough when it's finished. I have to lose weight to fit in it though so I may wait to do it ... or buy one in my current size. The college also has bright deep green ones (green is the school color) ... might be a better color than grey ... But not sure what color to combine with it ... maybe black on the bottom. The green is a bright enough color that it should still pop next to black.

Rounded the corners of the iron on

Use soda ash and soak your item in that first then you can dye or tie dye almost any fabric .. we tie dye ALOT and soda ash is the way to go ..

Would be cute to take the left over sweat shirt and sew it onto the open angle to create a layered angle rather than using the t-shirt.

Do you use seam rippers because that would be really helpful on some of these things so you don't do the damage she did trying to cut out the threads… It would save you from damaging the sweatshirt when you take out those threads… I know it's a female tool used by seamstresses but you might wanna look into it

No I would have just cut around the motive and fabric glued it on permanently I think the big white square around the motive ruins the look of anything heavy metal I would randomly put safety pins here in there through the motive instead possibly
