I started to get dressed everyday, even to go to the grocery store or the post office. why should I keep my nice clothes in the wardrobe for "special events" when every day is a special event. 🙂 People look at me and treat me in a differnt way, when I look good and feel good about myself.

Yes omg girl!! I almost puck when people ask me, why are you so dressed up, where are you going? Do you already have a boyfriend? Who do you want to show off for? Are you trying to impress your ex? WTH no!! I have clothes that need to be used, makeup that I need to wear, I don't produce myself every single day but when I do I get called for🤨😑

@@giocondakisses Those asking you those questions clearly need to level up their own lives. My Parents always had us dress “properly” when going in public. As kids “play clothes”were for play…..NOT going shopping with Mom…not for visiting a friends home. It carry’s over… seeing grown women with us brushed hair in sloppy sweats and what appear to be bedroom slippers is DISGUSTING. You keep on doing what you’re doing and let them to be the slobs they are 🎯♥

@@giocondakissesI love this! I've always hated my fine, thin hair. Even when I'm done up and its just been done I never feel that it looks nice and it really gets me down. A few weeks ago I ordered a long thick auburn wig, my man's jaw hit the floor when I walked in with it on and I've worn it out a couple of times for date nights and he said he loves the confidence it gives me. I'm building up the courage to wear it around other people I know and comments like yours make me think... why the hell not. We all deserve to feel our best whenever we want ❤

Thanks for this. I'm 32 and planning to quit a stable and well paying job where I've been working for 8 years. I'm not miserable so there's nothing truly pushing me to quit, except for the fact that I'm not excited about this job anymore. And that reason never seems enough to leave a well paying job. But this year I'm truly working on just going for it and seeing where life takes me. Your post may be the sign I need. xx 😌

The dressing up one really resonated with me. Often I dress down because everyone here dresses so casually and I feel like I can’t wear that nice outfit I wanted to wear because then I’ll stand out too much. I’m going to try to start wearing the nice outfits Id like to wear and dress for myself rather than dress to fit in casually with everyone else. Thank you ❤

Jillz, we WOULD LOVE AN IN-DEPTH VIDEO ON HOW TO RUN YOUR BUSINESS WHILE STAYING IM UOUR FEMININE ENERGY! Also how to work through all these limiting beliefs of “I’m not a business woman, women like me don’t become successful business women, there’s only one way to do it (the typical manly “grind” and someone who went to business school) and that way is simply not for me”. I am a creative writer and ESL corporate trainer and MA student and wanting to reconcile all of these identities and reconnect with my feminine energy. :)

The two are not exclusive. You can be as feminine as you choose to be and still be a business woman. Strong women are feminine. you don't need to wear dresses and heels to be feminine. That is the catch and the misnomer. Women have been taught to think that being in dresses and heels, being demur and submissive = being feminine. that is not true. Take a look at pioneering women and literal pioneer women. Read your own history.
@sea_uh
@sea_uh 5 ай бұрын
@@gusmonster59 I agree! It has more to do with the way I see myself, I think. And specifically in terms of venturing into a new career in business (without having seen anyone around me do that itms) - but I guess that's why learning about and from other women is more empowering than anything else. Currently reading Cat Bohannon's "Eve: How the Female Body Drove 200 Million Years of Evolution" and not to exaggerate, but it's changing my life. I think starting from our biology and then going from there is such an empowering place in terms of understanding female/women/femininity and how we come to be and it's honestly changing the way I think of myself. That seeps into every aspect of one's life including 21st Century business careers :-)

Last August, I gave up almost all of my material things. I didn't want to be that person anymore. I was stuck. I needed something, new, fresh and most important, ME! I put all of my energy into moving into a new career field, at 48. This field is not anything I have done before. I didn't know anything or anyone in the field but I wanted to be there. I made a lot of space for what I wanted to do, be and present to the world. It was NOT easy. There was a point where I was almost financially broke, because I refused to come from a place of being desperate and just doing whatever instead of focusing on what I really wanted for myself. I moved in silence. I didn't ask or even tell anyone what I was doing. I knew what I needed to do and I just did it.

100% on point no 3. I've been sober for a long time, but I mess around with dairy, sugar, and preservatives that clearly have no business in my body. My complexion immediately changes when I'm ingesting these things. This is so timely, because I just picked up some sunflower seed butter to swap out my white chocolate peanut butter cups. So glad to hear we're aligned on this 💕

Hi Jillz, This video means a lot to me. I quit drinking almost four years ago, originally to support a loved one who had an addiction, but I continued because I realized I felt so much better without it. I have a connective tissue disorder, too, and alcohol used to make my symptoms worse. It was difficult to quit when we did because alcohol is so engrained in our culture. But it was so worth going against the grain! I also love that you included trusting your own opinions and instincts about decisions. I have noticed, in following your advice in recent months, how little I am relying on others for their opinion on what I do. It has reduced my stress and made me feel like a friend and confidant to myself. It’s crazy to learn this at 36 years old, but I am so grateful for you and all of your ideas. You are a blessing on this platform. Thank you!

Regarding the tip about not asking for too much advice, some of the best advice I ever received actually came from when I was asking all my coworker friends whether or not I should go for a big hair change I’d been thinking about. One friend immediately was like “if you’re asking everyone you know for permission to do it then you obviously already wanna do it so just DO IT” and she was so right. Ever since, I’ve been a lot more honest with myself about things I feel that spark/pull towards, and just giving myself permission to do them as soon as I can identify that gut “yes this excites me and I wanna go for it” feeling instead of analyzing and asking and researching endlessly without making a decision.

My mom quit alcohol cold-turkey when she found out she was pregnant with me - now she is definitely an advocate for sobriety. I am 31 and have never been drunk. (Also, I was pregnant at 21. But I would not have been drinking, anyway.) It's important to be clear-headed. I am glad she instilled that drive in me.

Do it for God and family not your husband's recognition. Shabbat brings the Shabbat bride. It is a very feminine energy that showcases the feminine's ability to take mundane things and make them extraordinary. It was one of the only rituals in early Judaism that was female centered.

People made fun of me when I dressed up to go to dinner and shopping . Strangers would make snide remarks, oh look the she is dressing up to shop at Costco, or she looks like a rag doll. It was not a prom dress or fancy clothes just fine tailored pains and shirt with ruffles with jacket and pumps. A strand of pearls or light gold necklace, the ladies were not happy with me .

It feels sooooooo good and soft and juicy and safe, but I have felt a little bit like an imposter! I like what you said about all of us shifting and changing as we grow. I am so ready to evolve into my more feminine self! I also quit drinking alcohol about 7 years ago. The current thing that I am getting rid of, in order to soften, is social media. 1) My old Identity (my old 'self'. See yourself differently) 2) Stop trading time for money 3) Stop drinking alcohol 4) Asking for too much advice or feedback (trust your own gut) 5) Stopped dressing casual for date night 6) Started taking more risks These are all very good. They are also a part of - be who you are and not what others think you OUGHT to be. I have never liked alcohol. I never drank it. Why drink something I don't like. I took a lot of crap for this when I was younger. But,as I pointed out more than once , why should I drink something I don't like? To impress you? Nope. Sorry. Not here to impress you or anyone else. Chasing money is a waste of time. Yes, money can buy you nice things, but they are just things. You are better off working at something you like. Your entire life will be happier. Asking for feedback is great, but you are not required to take it. Follow your heart/gut/instincts. You can take more than one person's advice by taking the parts that sing to you and combining them. One of the biggest things you can o is to stop, or highly cut back on, screen time and social media. Get your nose out of your phone and look up at life.

I’m trying hard not to get caught up in the ’how’ and not to let fear take over; I’m just trying to focus on figuring out my next step. Thank you for sharing your gifts and such quality content. Your channel has been such a huge inspiration for me during this time 🙏🏽🤍✨

You GO GIRL!! I don’t know you but I’m proud of you! 👏🏼 💕🙏 Everything you said is spot on. Thank you for stepping into your power. I’m absolutely loving your content! The world needs you like this. Also, if you don’t know the Myers Briggs (MBTI), I’m almost positive you’re an INFJ. Check it out. ❤ I’m an INTJ and my Mom was an INFJ so I’ve got a special place in my heart for y’all. Teal Swan is another INFJ. We all share a dominant cognitive function of Introverted Intuition. Take care. Thank you. 🙏

I appreciate how you address business and being a business woman. This is exactly where I'm at...on the threshold of starting a business. I know I'm called to it and it's time to just do it...walk in it. Anyway, so interesting how your channel showed up in my feed at this time in my life. Alot of what you say resonates with me. Thanks so much.

I want to add that you can trade value for money in ways besides starting your own business. Certain industries pay more, and fully remote, salaried jobs offer much more freedom than companies that require you to be in an office five days a week. I have almost doubled my income by switching to the tech industry while still doing the same job, and working from home helps me feel like I have so much more time in my day. Owning a business is fabulous, but it's not for everyone and that's okay!

Jillz, enjoyed your positive inspirational video that applies to anybody.. A career is not about the most money you make but do you enjoy what you are doing. It took me until 45y/o to find a job I truly enjoy which is an Fire Department Manager. Bottom line like you said is to sometimes take risks, determination and reach for your dream and you can be anybody! Wishing you tremendous success with your YT Channel and all your endeavors.👨‍🚒🚒

What an amazing inspiring video! Please make a video that goes further into tapping into your intuition and how you can hear your inner gut. Also a video on on earning money by value and not hours! I recently started working self employed, but there is also only trading hours instead of value. I’m kind of stuck of what I could possibly do to learn these things, to make this happen! Would love to hear your advice :)😊

In my experience, overly asking people for their advice or opinion comes from a lack of self confidence and is setting yourself up to question your own judgement, as if you’re not already the expert on yourself.

I actually love my job, but it's definitely a time=money job, and I'm ready to make a shift to creating value. If I'm going to create the life I want, I need to do something different.

Jillz I would love it if you could create an in-depth video about how to run a business while staying in your feminine energy. Right now I’m working a job that I thought I would love and there are some aspects of it that I do enjoy, but this job is draining me. I desire to have a job that I have full control over my time and how much money I can make. Please I would sincerely hope that you could create such a video that would help me and whoever else is struggling in this area. I don’t want to feel exhausted for the rest of my life. Thank you Jillz for your wisdom. Your channel is such a blessing to me. ❤
