This is WLTOYS latest model and promises to be a great alternative for people who are looking for something that resembles an ARRMA Infraction at a fraction of the cost.
On my initial review video I really enjoyed this truck but it does have some flaws and these are covered in today’s video.

My biggest issue is the small battery tray, with all of wltoys and considering the price it's really a no go, you can get ftx rtr and absima under £200 and the build quality is so so much better in every way with much better motors shocks and so on, they imo are a greedy company trying to make as much money as possible and the products are just inferior, they made two pretty good buggies and after that it was all down hill!!! Agreed mate! For £200 there is a lot of better options. This was have done so much better if it was £120-150. The success of the 144001 and A959 has made them popular and now its all about profits not the consumer. Shame really.

Looks to me those are 60A ESC or at least the appearance is exactly the same. I came across your video because I just did a quick review of the new release 124017 V3 and need to research wltoys ESC. Very nice review.

I believe for the price you are paying for this truck and, crossover upgrades that are available across the board for this vehicle, it still beats the name brand price tag; with its upgrades. (if you are that kind of rc owner) I’m a fanboy though. This video has great honest details in the cars workings! For the Ol’ Wltoys cheap price tag that won us all over this truck does come short. Wonderful video!!🙌🏾🙌🏾

The only colour I like wltoys did release on his buggys. The purple colour for the 124019 and the truck 124016.

You won’t find parts for much of anything at Banggood anymore. They’ve been systematically allowing themselves to run out and not restock anything RC the past couple of years. Hobbyking suffered that same fate. AliExpress currently has replacement and upgrade parts for this model. Also many aftermarket wheel/tire options.

We just want head&taillights, standard electronics, 3 wire servo, 540 motor and not this mash-up of crappy parts. If you want a cheap drift/touring car your better of buying absima, or even himoto. But if you can afford the infraction mega, buy that one!

Gotta disagree with you on the Blue wheels Rik. I think they look awesome and give it character. The body is ok but it's just a copy of the UDI RC. Agree with all your other points though. WLToys do need to up their game. They could do so much better.

I think Arrma Infraction Mega is a LOT better option than this, for me 200 dollar is too much for a Wltoys.

I absolutely agree with you about this. Too expensive, all the issues you mention, and that fuggly body would put me off completely!! I don't dislike the colours, but that horrible afterthought front grill......!!! 🤷🏻♂️

Those of us in the UK will have to put up with higher prices of everything sold from China. Everything priced in USD so with the GBP on the slide prices will feel unreasonable.

Nice Video! Yeah, the truck is pretty ugly. The LEDs are just too much. Like a little christmas on wheels 🎄 And I don‘t know what to say about the body itself. Pinecone and UDIRC make better bodys for thier 1/16 scale. But I found some 1/10 scale wheels on Banggood when I checked the price for this truck… 220€ 🥵 even 150€ are too much IMO. I would save some more money a go for a cheap Infraction.

That pricing information was shocking. If those US prices include local State taxes then Horizon Hobby really are price gouging their UK customers with its Arrma products.

@@beyondRC Yep, pretty much! Some of their brands like FMS seem more reasonably priced here but the likes of Arrma, Losi, ProBoat, Spektrum, Pro-Line and Axial are often outrageously overpriced. Their new 4S v2 Kraton and Outcast seem more fairly priced in the UK... even if they're STILL refusing to give a date for when we're getting them!

I think after a year of use an infaction mega is still ok, but a 10472 almost falls apart :)

Wltoys are pushing the price a lot!!! For this price is better buy the infraction mega? Wltoys are supposed be the best rc for the price!! Ad least they win a lot fans including me! They make me buy a rc buggy 25 year's after my last purchase And make me feel some hope Finally some company doesn't overprice the toys and everyone can get in the rc hobby Butt doesn't last long It was enough a year being well talk by youtubers and sell well a few rc cars and boommmm the price goes too the moon Ad least if the quality goes side to side with the price but nowhere close of that! Wltoys shame on you

These are NOT good RCs. They are cheap RCs & at £210, that's no longer true. Spend the extra money & buy a well respected brand. You'll save money on running costs & you always have something that is desirable on the secondary market, unlike any WLToys, which are basically worth less than scrap value used.

You couldn't be more wrong the only thing your correct on is it is a cheaper alternative from the infraction it's an awesome truck I hooked a 3s onittapes utin the bed got to 73mph its well put together nice looking on the inside ifyou shave almost a 1/4 of an I. H from the wheel walks you can run tires from 12423 stadium truck OFF ROAD.. and other configurations..LIGHTS R AWESOME..BIGGEST MISTAKE is arma's MEGA now that's a disaster all that money for 20mph....your to harsh ...dam
