In this compilation video, we go over multiple clips that range from tiger attacks, bengal tiger encounters and tiger spottings. What makes these ''caught on camera'' moments so scary is the fact that they were filmed in places like africa, india, safaris, national parks and other parts of Asia.
Some of these clips feature clips where a tiger attacks a group of men on an elephant, a wild tiger chases a car full of tourists, a territorial tiger charges a man on an elephant ride, a man encounters a tiger during a nighttime drive, two men get attacked by a tiger and tour buses full of tourists encounter a male tiger.
Some of these creepy videos even feature moments where people were chased down by these animals, which are known to attack or stalk people who are out camping, hunting or hiking or just exploring the safari.
These tiger vs man moments are sure to give you the chills and the fact that some people were lucky enough to capture these near death experiences on gopros ou on tape makes it even crazier.

I've only seen ONE video where the encounter was SCAREY and that was the one where the man was actually ATTACKED by the Tiger! The FEW where they 'ran at that the tourists' were OKAY but the one where the man was actually 'harmed' really showed why you shouldn't FOLLOW BIG CATS that are minding their own business!

Just so you know... India is extremely strict regarding the tiger issue. Because of the rampant huntings of these majestic beasts, their numbers has gone extremely low. So there are very very strict laws and forest guards to protect them. A guide told me that even if the tiger attacks you... You're not allowed to fire shots at it. Basically the tiger's life is more important than the tourist/humans and that is a good thing, well atleast for me. Leave them alone, let them live!

Open Jeeps should be discouraged and a pre Safari briefing by a knowledgeable, certified guide should be a must for the tourists at Jim Corbett and similar reserves here. @Elizabeth Capstick - Indians also protect their lions in Gir Forest. U can look up the lion queens of India. These are Asiatic lions that once roamed in Israel n neighbouring countries - remember Samson who killed a lion with his bare hands, n Daniel, who was thrown into a lions cave but was saved by God Almighty. Well due to hunting n population growth, these lions are now only found in India.

Tiger stared me down at the zoo when I was about 14 on a school excursion. Legit looked me dead in the eye with bad intentions - I was definitely lunch that day. Froze in total fear, that magnificent bastard scared the absolute shit outta me. Hell, I'm 48 now, haven't been back to the zoo since and you'll never get me back, lol...

I had several scry encounters on an African safari with an overzealous guide, the worst involved stopping with the jeep off near 2 hyaenas dragging their prey to a mud puddle to finish consuming later. We were in an open top safari jeep, an elderly couple, a young eastern European urban couple who hadn't even been around farm animals, just the zoo, , the guide, and the skinny tracker sitting in an exposed seat on the front hood and bumper. With full bellies, they approached the jeep out of curiosity. 1 returned and got closer. He began to slowly approach the tracker on the front, but as he got to the corner bumper, it was about 8 feet wide opening to the bushes, so he stopped, looked at the tracker intently, but didn't get closer because of the narrow space. He then put his face to the vehicle and began sniffing it, starting at the front bumper, and very slowly working his way back along the fender and around the tire. When he reached the guide/driver, there was no door. He studied her intensely. He then stuck his head inside the door well and sniffed her upper leg, working his way down her leg slowly, his nose just inches away, as she sat perfectly still facing forward. The rifle was outside the reach of anyone. Then he stopped at her shoes, smelling intensely. I thought this was it - hyaenas will sneak into camps and steal shoes as chewies, they are familiar to them. I was looking around for rocks, large sticks, etc. - anything to grab and throw if it attacked, but I didn't like out chances - and elderly and a young woman, an elderly and an older and urban man, and a skinny tracker, trying to scare off 2 hyaenas during an attack. He finally pulled his head back outside the wheel well. Then he looked the guide over carefully, head to toe. I was initially relieved when he continued to sniff along the jeep, slowly continuing toward the back. Then I was scared for my own safety. I was by myself in the last bench which sits high out over the rear bumper, no protection on the sides or back. I knew not to move to attract his attention, the best I could do was throw myself forward if it attacked, so I positioned my legs. he continued to work his way back until he reached the rear bumper, beside my bench. His next step would be to continue under and along the back of my bench, outside my sight, and the sight of everyone else. Watching him out of the corner of my eye, when he reached the back bumper, it was again only about 8 feet away from a large bush. He looked me over, got nervous with the confined area, so he turned and left. At dinner the elderly man and myself were not happy. Out thoughts were that if it had attacked the guide, the 2nd would join in, we would have to try to save her, and we didn't like our chances if the tracker wasn't able to quickly retrieve the rifle.

It's very pathetic to see humans indulging in harrassment and needling the tigers. Such acts must be declared a criminal offense and strict actions to be taken.

Authorities should simply return these people to the camp base if they're unwilling to follow instructions.

Nothing would please me more than a tiger who outsmarts a coward hunter and rips his bowels open with one swipe, and then tears him limb from limb with his 1000 PSI jaws and wrecking machine claws.
