i have almost same condition on my TV. There is 8 bars backlight LED inside and left 4 bars dont work, only right half 4 bars are working. I checked this kind boboost circuit and i realized that when i plug out backlight LEDs one of pin voltage of backlight driver is good but when i plug in left LED's connector again then backlight driver pin voltage reduces again. i see that there is short in left led bar side. Thanx

I didn't get how you soldered the resistor to the bd9397efv ic.Where did you soldered the first leg of the resistor and on what leg of the ic did you soldered the other leg of the resistor on the ic.

Very instructive. Please I would like to ask something, I have my LED tv Samsung 42 inches; there's no image but all voltage are ok. I tried to measure even the cof voltage but all voltage are present; and on the tcon board all voltage are present. Now what will I do in this case?

I purchased the same brand for 33000 .After one year suddenly it stopped no light no sound. The technician said he replaced panel and charged 7000. Again after six months there was same problem. The technician wanted 10000 to change the panel. I just threw it in store room six years back. None would agree that there is something wrong in circute.

This is the biggest problem of this sony tv nowadays. You can't test the backlight without the panel with the protection/panel ID eeprom on it.
