Awesome video. I spoke with you the day you made the video at Baxter State Park. I remember you being a bit down. I enjoy the authenticity that comes across in videos, and I have learned a lot from you.

We all get days like that, Thomas, I went with my Son a 300 mile trip north to the the Scottish Central Highlands and got a couple of mediocre shots. Then today went 5 miles to my local Estate and had well below Zero with beautiful Frost, then the Mist rolled in, I was taking a shot every 2 minutes and nearly singing, just nearly,🤪 I cant sing. Love your laid back style, look forward to your next video.

I've had discouraging days like this. I think we all have. I've seen a rare bird who is completely out of his range fly up and catch me off guard, only to miss the shot. I've walked away feeling so defeated many times, but I love birding and capturing what I see, so the next morning I go out again with a fresh and new perspective like you talk about in this video. Thanks for your beautiful videos. I am learning a lot from you.

Hey Tom, John here. The other guy besides Martin who met you at Baxter.😄 Like Martin said, we senced that you were struggling. We actually talked about it after we parted ways with you. Glad you were able to get through it. A little break and introspective look into your struggles I believe was the ticket you needed. Im an amateur and can so relate. I've turned my back away from still photography the past couple of years and feel like the Baxter trip helped light the pilot light under my ass. The combination of hanging with Martin and seeing your struggles and how you talked about it hopefully turns up the heat.
