You can walk and even run with open inventory. When you carry over 50kg you can left click and hold something heavy to run faster

Well WeMod fixed that encumbered problem and let the players have many other edges. Your game your rules.

It does on console(Switch) but only does so much. I can’t carry any planks -_- unless someone makes a console exclusive video I’m stuck with lots of things on the ground lol

Yo i have a tip if your weight is over 50kg, you can take something in your inv maybe a stack of items and walk with it in your hands while the inventory is open in case you don't wanna drop anything

I found out that if you are getting heavy because of the inventory just drag out of your backpack the most heavy item, but don't drop it yet, you will be able to walk fast again and still holding all your inventory, you''ll not be able to look around though but it's useful if you want to carry something to your base

Console version help video please? Lol It’s crazy how everyone is like “I DIDNT KNOW YOU HELD DOWN Y” because on console(Switch version) It tells you at the bottom of the screen tool tip, hold Y to sort, but it’s finicky. I can’t carry planks, basically have a bunch of things on the ground just to carry planks lol. If I pick up a stack of arrows in my bag then press Y to rotate them then try to put the plank in my bag it puts everything back to the vertical position 😭 Very annoying lol

There's a bug with the weight of a backpack that can be abused currently. If you are slightly over the 50 lbs mark, then you can grab onto whatever stack/item in your backpack and it will remove the movement slow/jump. However, you can only run in a straight line.

I'm not even sure if you can rotate things on the playstation version cause in the two yrs I've been playing I've never figured it out. If its facing one direction I usually just sort and it rotates the other direction. If I want it to rot back I drop it a d pick it back up. Its inconvenient but it works

You can rotate items on the playstation, try using triangle! You take thing you want in hands while inventory is open and just press triangle. If it's not working try changing your options that satisfy you!

Y and ALT is quite helpfull... dont know why you dont have it in tutorial or at least at tips... and if you are overweight, just open crafting and give there anything to have less than 50kg and just run/walk.. right mouse hold working for changing view, but in this moment everybody knew it i suppose.
