I am going to watch this a second time. It was very inspiring, made me feel like running up and putting on some jewelry. Of course, I am about ready to jump on the Peleton, so the elevated look will be tragically wasted in an empty bedroom with me sweating like I am on a deserted isle. @@americafirst9144 No constructive ideas sadly, but tonight I used the 1/3- 2/3 rule, with matching shoes and bag and I did feel like I wasn't frumpy! I think it's my use of tweed and cashmere and suede that upsets her. Now in the market for more friends.... :)

Wait, what? Frumpy AND ugly? Is she a real friend? 1. Ok, if YOU asked her advice on style , maybe frumpy is acceptable, but she could have worded that better, but Ugly? Did she say YOU are ugly or your style ? 2. Either way, that's not at all kind. I doubt YOU are ugly (people are not ugly, we are all different) & maybe you feel the need to alter your personal style a bit & that's fine, but there is a respectful way to phrase that.

I really like your channel. I live in Greece, I am entering 50 and through my experience I have concluded in almost everything that you mention for creating my style, which I call it -classy with an edgy element-. One thing though. I think that youtubers like you, who have e respect about fashion, should try to talk more about consumerism and cloth waste in relation to the environmental crisis. People need to realise that the fashion industry, especially fast fashion, plays a crucial role on the environment and that change should come from all of us, but primarily from influencers who care to make a difference. I have always wondered if jewerly has to be all the same color. The watch , necklace, even the belt all in gold tone (or silver) to achieve a polished look? And I would also like to know how to look polished without a blazer, because I live in a very warm climate.

I usually go for mid to light color outfits and have noticed i look better if my vertical line isnt broken. This basically means i dont like the look of belts on me.
