29 күн бұрынYou think IRON MOUNTAIN, MI has a problem? Some of these people are just plain crazy! I can't believe the railroad doesn't blow the horns all the way thru town...
Federal laws say "No Train Horn Zones" are allowed but all crossings need to be gated. I believe its the city of Iron Mountain's responsibility to help pay for costs. There is a rumor that the railroad is thinking about CLOSING multipal crossings in town. Idiots driving like this, how could you blame them?

Stupid people. Train horn restrictions ought to be lifted. The Karen’s out there complain about train horns but then cry that railroads don’t care when someone gets hit in the why don’t they do something about this type of tone.

When the rich people moved into my blue collar town, the sirens at the firehouses were silenced or removed. Then went the church bells. Now they’re getting a busy RR crossing with the rails on a curve, turned into a “no horn blow” crossing! Am wondering when they’ll get the cop cars, ambulances and fire trucks sirens silenced!

@@anthonycantu8879 Well in fairness, the camera perspective often shows that things often appear much closer than they really are. But there are way too many people both motorists and pedestrians who constantly and completely ignore approaching trains.

Apparently the engineer does not think these are close calls, as he is not blowing the horn. Not 1 time. As you mentioned he can blow the whistle if he thinks the traffic is getting too close to causing a crossing accident. If this was filmed from his point of view it would look much different.

An activated signal means stop. Not one car did. May as well go thru all the stop lights too, same thing.

There are also a lot of places where use of horns is restricted. Residential or high end commercial areas for instance. This appears to be neither but it is a possibility.
