When anxiety takes over, it's like having a sneaky intruder in your mind and body. You end up doing things without even realizing it. Simple tasks become really hard, and you start acting based on fear instead of thinking things through. It's like anxiety creates a whole different world inside your head, where you're always on edge and reacting to everything around you without really meaning to. You might find yourself avoiding stuff, doing things over and over, or just feeling like you need to protect yourself all the time because of this anxiety.
Can you relate to any of these points? Comment below...

I developed health anxiety 2 years ago . I’ve come a long way and in some crazy ways a lot of good has come from it . I’m as healthy and content as I’ve ever been because of the changes I’ve made because of my awareness of how important our food, hobbies, etc really are however my biggest lasting struggle is exactly what you’re describing . I’ve ALWAYS loved the outdoors but now every time I go for a bike ride, a hike, a kayak trip , etc I get the Intrusive thoughts of the what ifs ( all medical emergency possibilities ) and for a while it stopped me from going but now I take the opposite approach and get my heart rate up or go as far away from help as possible . It’s slowly working but it’s def not fun on the bad days. Your channel has helped me more than you know!!!!

Anxiety makes you rush was big one for me! Anxiety tried very hard to get me to jump to other videos, then to work on my desk , then to my emails and on & on. I thought about a video I previously watched by Dr. Joe Dispensa .... He says you have to treat the mind like a dog. You have to tell it to sit and stay until you're done feeding it then it can go run and play! It finally calmed down and I watched it to the end. This video is spot on! It sounds so simple yet is so hard!! I have a lot of things to keep working on, Slow Down, quit seeking external validation, change the way I look at things so the things I look at can change! Thank you Dennis!

Anxiety makes you: -Rush -Dread the future -Feel fragile and avoid risks -Turn worry into a necessary companion -Feel guilty -Deny your creativity and intuition You can witness the circus without getting wrapped up in it. Anxiety loves you unconditionally to protect you. Dennis would likely beat Djokovic in tennis 🤓

Guilt was the most eye opening for me. I felt so much guilt after my oldest son passed away from muscular dystrophy. I did everything I could to protect him. Hi Dennis, I rarely comment on much, but felt the need to do so on here for you. Firstly, I’d like to send a huge thanks to you for taking the time to help so many of us struggling daily with any form of anxiety. So THANK YOU !! Secondly, I feel so blessed to have found you 3 days ago. You have already helped me through such difficult symptoms. Mine I haven’t read or seen anyone else mention. My body feels like it’s floating and I don’t have control of it most days. Somedays it gets so bad, it feels like my body is being pulled against the direction I’m walking towards. Also my nerves and muscles in my body can’t seem to relax, they feel jumpy inside. Makes it so hard to actually sleep and relax. It’s scary when I have tried to let my body relax, it feels like I’m going to pass out or faint. Very scary feeling. So, I decided to listen to several of your videos the last 3 days and nights. Well, The first morning waking up, I was expecting the usual uncomfortable feelings, they weren’t the same at all, I was waiting for them, just mild symptoms of discomfort, to be expected after suffering for over 6 years. Day 2, pretty much the same. Day 3, a little less. I’ve seen dramatic changes in this little time. I will continue to watch and listen to you several times a day. I know it’s not an overnight cure all, but it’s truly been life changing for me. You are gifted and I see how genuine and generous you are! 🤗♥️ THANK YOU DENNIS !!!

Hi Dennis, I am in complete distress and believe I am in the fight, flight and freeze response because I am paralyzed with anxiety, impending doom and depression everyday. I have Lyme disease, Mold illness and working with a naturopathic doctor but I believe because my nervous system is so out of wack I can’t really heal. I identify with everything you are saying. I am completely overwhelmed and feel like I’m going to lose my mind. My question to you is which program do you think would be good for me to start that would be hands on and receive support. I’m not in a position to do a program that I have to try and figure it out. My mind is just not there. I need someone to help me and be engaged with me through it. Thank you

100% resonate with this . . .makes perfect sense . . . Always seems like you're mind is trying to override your physical body even though there is absolutely nothing to be anxious or fearful of...This goes to show how the subconscious mind is running the show once the damage has been done . . .#childhoodtrauma . . . This was a very powerful segment...."Your elements of anxiety is not meant to guide and control you . . .YOU are suppose to guide them by your conscious side."

It’s because our breathing changes when we have anxiety…we start to have shallow breathing . Try the 4-7-8 breathing pattern a couple times a day and it can help

For me, chronic plugged nose.actually having a hard time taking big breaths through the nose is literally close to panic. I do not know how to ease into it as airhunger sets in, and I tend to hyperventilate.

I tend to find that work is the point that starts me off. So my threat system is on and then it just takes something small to push me over the edge, like a dry throat or a bit wheezy. I also tend to do things really fast and I have to actively force myself to show down, which is actually really difficult to do in a work setting.

Hi Dennis! What are your thoughts on subconscious patterns that are so below our control that they just happen automatically? For example every year at this exact time I get IBS out of the blue and I feel it starting. It’s so distressing because it lasts usually for 10 weeks, no physical explanation. I do carry a ton of guilt and shame and have limited my life so much. Another example is when I do things that are uncomfortable and feel good after having done them, the next time I want to do it, a physical symptom shows up that stops me. You know I’ve been following you for years and yet here I still am.. I feel like I hate what my body is doing because I honestly feel like I CAN do everything I want to do without fear.
@TheAnxietyGuy1

Go directly to it, this can be done through guided hypnosis, letting go type meditations, or even the intention of giving it all to ‘God’ to handle it (depending on your relationship to source). Get curious rather than frustrated and you will teach the subconscious to love again rather than fear.
