Hey Pratik, Scratch happens on the surface and is not affected by the thickness. More thickness means better resistance to cracks, not better scratch resistance.

No, that's not true. Scratches on glass is subject to lateral displacement. The thicker the glass, the less displacement laterally, the less possibility of registering a scratch.

Your assertion of no 5 is incorrect. the thickness of the glass has nothing to do with scratch resistance. It all depends the glass hardness. The glass thickness has however impact on structural resistance.

3:00 How thickness affects scratch responce? Scratch comes on the surface and irrespective of how deep the glass is, both should behave equally. Thickness plays a role if we check the breakability and crack development.

3:10 excellent video but I would like to point out one thing. As a professional Mechanical Engineer i can say that Thickness of any glass does not have to do anything with the Hardness. Hardness is a surface property. Having thick glass might be more durable but it does not make sure that it will be more harder. Clearly Redmi is doing something else very shady.

Another less known gimmick is benchmark scores, most processor manufacturers optimise their hardware to detect when benchmarks are running and then maximise benchmark scores on the run time. So you may see huge benchmark numbers but actual performance may be lower.

This is a serious issue, and the problem becomes even more serious when Smartphone companies don't even mention all the specs on the product page😔. Few days back i wanted to check if an XY phone had NavIC support but on the product page can't find that. This has become a norm to only highlight their Good and better specs of the phone. Gps support, amt. of wifi bands, etc are all taken for granted.

I have the redmi note 13 pro it has got a small scratch so easily. It heats a lot. It's for casual gaming that's why i bought it. It has good camera and that's really good. And overkill for daily use. Good battery🔋. Purple colour version has better colour than other colours.

We had this kind of truth checking honest review from a long time from our native and well respected channel CallMeShazzam, but since its in Malayalam and its reach it to only people knowing Malayalam, the Hindi viewer were not aware of it. Processor companies has to do that ..if snapdragon sells 8 gen 1 after 5 years at low cost..all tech media says its older processor dnt buy where as benchmark and all good for a midsegment..so companies change it to either 7 gen or 4 gen series.. processors cant be manufactured every year for all series ..thats y they concentrate mostly on flagship segment.no wrong in that
