Sorry about that, but this video wasn’t a “song breakdown” tutorial so I didn’t go into all that. With that being said I always make mention of the song title and artist of the song used so folks can go look it up if they need to. You can use the chords in any music. Just know that the application of these chords will change the song. For example, Pop music is mainly comprised of basic triad progressions. Once you start adding extensions it will only longer sound the same, it will sound like a reharm Jazz/Neo soul version of the which takes it into totally different realm. It requires some expert knowledge on the subject to be able to do these kind of reharmonization effectively and tasteful. In other words, if you’re new to extended chords, you’ll be better served practicing then in songs that already have these progression so you can learn how these chords work.
