She might not fully understand that she will never see mommy again. She is pretty young and when someone tells a child mommy is in heaven they might think she’s just on a trip not knowing it’s permanent. Poor baby, bless her heart.

In accountability, a home going is a time for celebration during and after mourning. As a child, "Mama's gone and I won't see her anymore. Why? I want to cry." Put yourself in her shoes. Go back to when you were a child. I hope this girl's father and other grown ups surrounding her are integral ! Nothing wrong with considering someone's heartache before a "praise" break. Again, only God knows if it was truly praise onto Him. God is watching over that child !!! Thank You Jesus !!! She is covered in His blood !!!

Sherrie, I don’t think they know the extent of the loss at that age. I found this out when my niece held up so well and read so eloquently at my sister’s funeral two years ago. She’s doing well today.

@@sholaesq my condolences 🙏🏾to you and your family❤it probably won't hit her until she is older thinking about all the good times they shared..I lost my auntie who was my mom 15 year old sister to stomach cancer I never knew her I was a baby when she passed away I'm sure if she was here today she would have been my favorite TT❤...I don't have much family I lost my bff when I was 21 pregnant with my first born son, she was my granny/mom my kids never got to meet her..still to this day I miss her deeply..I went to her funeral while I was pregnant with her first great grand baby she never got to meet him😢

I am very GRATEFUL that she IS WITH A CHURCH GROUP that's GOT HER BACK AS GOD DOES! Her performance is so incredible that you can also tell how much she LOVES DANCE. I would love to see her get in REAL DANCE CLASSES (BALLET JAZZ MODERN); she can continue her praise dancing with her church; the classical techniques make her a STRONGER dancer...

When my grandma was dying, my dad told her that he didn’t know how he was going to go on without her here. She told him something that has always stuck with me. She told him, “Wayne, don’t think of it that way. Think of it as living your life in a way that honors me. Show the world that I did my job and raised a strong son. When you tell me you can’t go on without me, You’re saying that ice sale at my job as a mother, which was to raise a strong, kind, loving, godly man. Don’t put that failure on me!” Dad has said in the 30 years since she passed, there are times he misses Grandma so much that the “I just can’t,” feeling comes back. But instead of unpacking it and living there, he allows himself to feel the sadness and the loss, but then he reminds himself that he is Vera’s son and she was a wonderful, successful mother. As he gets closer to seeing her again (he’s 82 years old now) he says that he is excited to find out from her how he did with the job she prepared him for. Personally, for what it’s worth, I think he has done an excellent job yes and she is very proud of him, like I am. Show the world what a strong and successful woman your mama was by being the strong & successful woman she raised you to be. You can do this!

What people don't understand is that the Bible says that the Christian walks from life into everlasting life. That is because Jesus took the sting out of death when He sacrificed Himself to God to pay our sin debt that we owe to God. Without the SHEDDING OF BLOOD, there is NO REMISSION (taking back)OF SIN. Because the wages (payment) of sin (disobedience to God) is death (natural and eternal spiritual separation from God). We each had to receive for ourselves His ( Jesus') gift (Made Himself payment for each of our sins (or disobedience) to God.) to the world. He took the punishment from God for present through past sins we've committed.

From my viewpoint, this precious child could not have had a close relationship with her Mother. There is no way a six year old who had a normal mother daughter relationship could have performed this way at her Mother's funeral. Death is difficult for adults to process and children cannot began to understand the finality of death.

I don't know where you conducted your inaccurate comment about children not really understanding death because as a therapist and a new parent to two beautiful children who lost their mother & father. Other family members would use the word passed away because it sounds better than died. The 4 year old came to me and asked does pass away mean that my mama died I responded yes he replied I thought I was right.So that is certainly a misconception they do not understand death

Thank God for the adult, both of them i that God put together. They danced like a team. This little girl so well with here partner it so so amazing, it is breathtaking. This is the way God the comforter, is comforting this child. My pray is that she will feel God's love every day of her life. I kind of figured that because in heaven there's no tears or sadness.. looking down on who was left behind, and seeing what they have to endure without being able to help them would definitely cause tears and much sorrow... it was a comforting thought though, but truth is truth.

It's ok to cry to grieve! My mom passed away in 2004 and my dad pass in 2016 and I still cry for them....Death doesn't hurt the person that has passed they're at peace it's the people that are left who suffer from the sadness...

How? It just proves that we humans are resilient.

And how old were you when she died? This child, this young child, was probably made to do this. She is 6 and does not have the capacity to understand what growing up without a mom will be like. It should be a time of joy when the person is saved but I don't know I find this creepy. I'm a Christian but it didn't bring me joy.

I put quotations because only God truly knows the motive behind why that baby was up there. The motive behind the grown ups that surround her, not her. She's a child. But God told us there is a time to mourn. And we are to mourn with those that mourn, children as well. I just hope that the motive was right and this is what this little girl felt led to do by God and not pressured to do by man! Yes, if it wasn't God's will, it is wrong regardless! I hope it was His will !
