Today I traversed the summit of Sunday Mountain in Orford, NH. This peak is found along the Cross Rivendell Trail. I recalled this hike from last year with fondness and was once again greeted with a well marked trail.

It seems trivial but one of my favorite parts about the Cross Rivendell Trail is their trail signs. And of course the name Rivendell reminds me of one of my favorite movies, LOTR.
