I've played the most games ever this year. Usually I mostly play 1 or 2 annual games & I may Play a couple games outside of those main games. For the last decade or 2 2k & Madden were the games I played all year until the next one comes out but I let Madden go in 2017/18 & the only reason i got 2k24 was b/c of the Kobe Challenge which wasn't what I thought it was goin to be. Ice had damn near every 2k created since dreamcast, maybe missing 1 or 2 at the most around the time, but haven't missed 1 2k since 2k5 & this is the least I've ever not played. I haven't played 3 full games...So that gave me alot of extra time...Thanks to gamepass I've been able to test so many games that I wouldve never payed for in full myself...I also went back & played a few games I only beat once or twice 1 being RDR2...MAAAAAAN it's soooo much in that game that I missed. I need to play it 5 more times to catch everything lol. I Replayed gears of War 1, 3, 4, & 5....I bought a PS5 so I replayed Spider-Man Remastered, miles morales, & I recently completed Spider-Man 2. I've never been a big fan of Ubisoft or assassin's creed but thanks to gamepass i was able to try OUT AC Origins & fell in love with it b/c I already love ancient Egypt. I can't wait until I get time to replay it thru new game plus...I also completed AC Odyssey which was pretty good but Origins is 1 of my favorite games ever. I'm currently playing AC Mirage...1 of my favorite gamed this year was unexpectedly Starfield. I was new to Bethesda & didn't expect to like it but I had so much fun doing all the factions, building, researching, etc. I'm currently playing Cyber punk which I had no plans on playing but I decided to get it since it was on sale & it's 1 of the most immersive games I've played as far as the environment & the audio with headphones makes it feel like ur living in it...Thru game pass I found out about skate 3 & fell in love with it. I used to love skateboard BMX games when I was younger on the ps1, but I loved it...Skate 3 nailed the entire experience of being a rookie & building ur player up like Fight Night Champion or Saints Row 2...The next game I'll be on is God of War Ragnarok which came with my ps5...I'm looking forward to Ghost of ghost of tsushima....I also have aloooot of games I own but are on the back burner right now, which is a wonderful problem lol...Ive had hit man on ice for a while no2

@@tyleroutland435 very underwhelming. Ultra annoying characters. Found myself wanting each and every one of them to die. Half of them are rainbow hijackers and the other half are just obnoxious. Could have been good but failed. Distinctly average, imo. Until Dawn wasn't amazing, either. It was good, solid game, imo, quite groundbreaking for its time maybe but I happened to play it much later so wasn't overly impressed. Still a good, solid game, though.

HFW is still one of the best games ever. Not too violent, melee and ranged combat, deep lore and story, flying mounts, mounted combat, massive foes, tons of side quests, beautiful gfx especially facial animation.

And when you say “woke” you are basically saying that you rather prefer old-fashioned concepts while this game follows modern times. For you I recommend games from the 90s decade, there were lots with outdated stereotypes.

@@RedFloshken it's a boring, woke, kid's game but it that's what you enjoy playing then fair enough. I played it for about 3 hours and nothing about it interested me besides the graphics. I know plenty of people who think the same thing. It panders to a certain demographic, the gameplay is meh and what's up with those silly outfits? Fighting shielded robots with a bow and arrow using twigs? Come on huh.

@@cun7us many games fail this kind of reality check. In Elden ring for example you also take sword hits while you are wearing cloth. It’s no argument at all. You can say you don’t like that game but in my OP I have argued how many things you can do to make it not boring. So I believe there is some deeper reason why you are dissing it. You using the word “woke” says it all. Don’t like bows and arrows? Play call of duty. Want to kill woke people? Go play Cyberpunk. Name me any game you like to play and witness how I will do the right thing and leave you be with your opinion.

The only problem with these selections is that most of them are on PS4. I would consider it part of the ps5. We need more game for ps5 solo. If it’s for both consoles you can’t claim it as just ps5.

Do you know about the "PS Deals" app on iOS? That app lets you put together a wishlist of games and alert you when they go on sale along with some limited history of the price changes. One of the best things to me is they keep record of what the lowest PS+ discount and regular discount prices were. That has helped stop me from buying stuff when it was on sale but not at the lowest price ever.

They all look like PS4 games to me. Gaming and technology have enter into the realm of diminishing return quite a few years ago already. No longer can consumers be awed by generational console release nowadays anymore. The best era was the shift from 16bit to 32 bit and ps1 to ps2 days. The graphical jump was insane.

True I believe we reached the highest graphically peak within the 8th gen. Now the changes are more subtle and incremental but I do believe we are moving from photo realistic graphics to almost true to real life graphics with those incremental changes making an impact. The matrix tech demo is a prime example on the PS5. When we get to the PS5 Pro or PS6, it'll be more prominent.
