To celebrate 60 years of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust, I've challenged myself to find 60 individual species over the month of September whilst only visiting Lancashire Wildlife Trust reserves or places that are supported by the trust.
Mere Sands Wood Nature Reserve in Ormskirk is an incredible space for wildlife and nature to thrive. It is one of my favourite places to visit for both photography and relaxation. It was a great location for me to start my 60 for 60 challenge.
