Ok so here's the thing Flake gold does have value and you can find someone to sell it to, its all about the purity. It is less likely to be 100% pure in flake form. The average per oz of flakes in about $1700 so at 10 grams you are looking at about $546. It will be less if it is less pure. Take it somewhere to where they buy gold and you can get a free estimate :P But if you do let us know out of curiosity

Exactly. Flakes can vary wildly with impurities, etc. This is why the folks on "Gold Rush" melt theirs down to remove impurities.

Palladium is the most expensive of the four major precious metals - gold, silver and platinum being the others. It is rarer than platinum, and is used in larger quantities for catalytic converters.

Platinum is more expensive per gram, not only is the earth running low on it but it also has a lot of other uses other than just jewelry. Also I’m a big believer in fine silver. We still have an abundance of gold so I think we may see some changes in the near future

A lot of gold flakes in the vial is from gold leaf and yes after you melt it down to try to turn it into bars you will need a bunch (more than 4 or 5 ) to register 1 oz of gold. The only gold I would trust is anything that is a small bar or round (or cons) that is marked 10g .999 fine. other than that I would assume that is gold leaf in the vial and not worth more than 2 bucks a vial

when i was a teenager we had the best securetyever a german shepard...she'd let anyone in, the just couldn't get out till we got home if they tried to go near a door or window she get right up close to them show her teeth and growl the deepest most scary growl....even some of the neighbors that came by so often our door seemed like a swingdoor couldn't get out if we werent home.... ;)

Platinum, palladium and other elements are more valuable, depending on market values. Also, there is a difference between an ounce and a Troy ounce which is a measurement used for weights such as this. I admire that you want to learn. All of us could learn more, but you don’t hear people acknowledge it very often. I enjoy your videos. Very admirable of you to be thinking of your child’s future financial well-being. God speed.

Enjoyed watching. Glad you took the gold. May get a better price in future for little man. At Dollar Tree can purchase moisture control. It is with detergent and bleach area I think. It is a container that you take lid off and it takes moisture from air. May help in RV.

Paladum and Rhodium, both tradable metals, are worth more per ounce than gold and platinum. Actually, gold is worth more per ounce than platinum at the moment. Nice win. 💰 Keep the gold but do not store it at the bank!

Hi, Josh, great video today. Nice wins! On the no-show for the Bitcoin- you may have to see about reporting them for withholding winnings from a giveaway. With their shady history and it being about 2 months from announcement, they should have already had a chance to get the Bitcoins bought and transferred. I'd keep asking them and email them often with July Bitcoin giveaway as your subject line. That way if you DO have to report them or something, you have proof of the giveaway and the prize, etc. And great job to your friend about his music! Way to go!

Rhodium is close to 13,000 per ounce and I believe is the most expensive precious metal and is part of the silver family which also includes platinum and platium.

Gold is measured in Troy ounces. 1 troy ounce = 31.1035 grams. So 10 grams is 0.32151 Troy ounces. And 20 grams is 0.64301. This is if the gold is 24 Karats. Natural Gold nuggets are roughly 83 to 92% gold. So 10 grams of nuggets is 0.2669 to 0.2958 troy ounces of pure gold, 20 grams is twice these numbers.

Now I'm not sure but I think gold is bought by the troy ounce? This is what the interweb describes it lol. It can explain way better than me.Gold is always measured by the troy ounce, which is equivalent to about 31.103 grams. This standard of measurement was created in France during medieval times and was later adopted by the United States in 1828 for standard coinage. I just hobby panned for dust here lol. It's a blast even so. Hoping to get back to it soon. The gemstones are the bonus.

Platinum used to be worth more than gold but it's hard to compare the two. Gold is a monetary metal while Platinum along with Palladium are industrial metals. They are not a metal that is usually invested in. Almost all Platinum and Palladium production each year is used in industrial applications. I'm not saying people don't invest in these metals but most do not.

Hey Josh gold is at over $1900 a Troy ounce while Palladium is over $2300 a Troy ounce. 31 grams. Palladium is a form of platinum that’s quite rare hence the higher spot price.

Play your quarters on the left side do that and see what you do get I've been watching somebody else plays that game and she plays starts playing on the left and it's that side out and then she switches over to the right the right side
