Though this is a clone it's so fun, and the lack of comfort collars makes it so much better, especially on the inversion at the top :)

any part on a skyrocket is super trippy for first timers. My first ride on tigris (my first ever skyrocket) was absolutely terrifying

thrill capital of northern california is like gold striker advertising itself as the tallest and fastest wooden coaster in northern california (despite there being like 3, 2 in the same park)

What's funny about that is Grizzly is technically faster by like... 1.3 mph lol at least according to RCDB. And I'm pretty sure there was either merch or something official from the park that also lists Grizzly as having a faster top speed.

@@605coasters Yeah it's pretty crazy how Grizzly is faster than Gold Striker. Most people just believe Gold Striker is the fastest by a lot

@@aarusharya5658 Yeah, I've always wondered exactly why. But I figure it's probably heavier trains and a longer drop. Since Gold Striker doesn't go all the way down to the ground until after the turn.

I rode this and my seatbelt was not working… they pushed down as hard as they could and I heard a snap. Then they sent me off, but I am still good

Hot take: If this is a rollercoaster, so is a Larson loop. Think about it. They both are powered by swing launches, they both coast, they both have narrow layouts, the only difference is the Skyrocket 2 has two extra twists and a non-inverting loop.

I've never been, but I've heard it has a powerful launch and a great first half, but the second half is pretty slow. VelociCoaster is better.

The model is a Sky Rocket II, there's probably about a dozen or so of them around the world. This one if the original and opened in 2012. Electric Eel didn't open until 2018.
