I consider X my childhood as I rode the original X as a kid after begging my parents to take me to ride it all the way from Cincinnati. I’ve made 2 trips in 2019 and 2021 to ride X2 by myself as an adult and it never gets old. I may be single with no kids no social life but I freaking rode X2😂

As someone who rides this ride every week, I can confirm it legally gets away with assault and battery. Especially if you're sitting on the outer edge.

Man insults all of Southern California then proceeds to accuse one of their best coasters of assault. Love this guy!

Yesterday I rode it in a back row wing seat and the final raven turn made my neck crack in several places. I still can’t fully move it I still rerode it twice today because it’s so good lmfoa The first drop and the inside raven turn is the best start to any ride I think

Best coaster I’ve ever ridden. I got a back row night ride (with fire) and I was in total shock upon returning to the station

This is probably my favorite roller coaster, because that first drop is an experience like no other. It's incredible both day and night, except *when it's 100 degrees and they still decide to shoot off the flames*

It's getting much rougher the older it gets, last I rode I felt like a rag doll

The real ones remember when the coaster used to play Enter Sandman.

My lady is an adrenaline Junkie. I'm not. Got on this ride 2 days ago. That first half is a freaking assault for sure. The Last half just cuddles you through your entire existence with a fast of fire. I will not miss that drop.

“assault and battery” The battery part is true. When the coaster originally opened as X, it needed 1.1 million volt amps to run.

This coaster is worth the admission fee alone! It's sooo good!! But thankfully we have other greats like Tatsu and Twisted colossus.

They need to do some variations on the rotating of the cart like flipping twice as much if you want the ride to get more extreme. They can even put a big X indicator light to let you know the ride is in Xtreme mode. The modes could alternate every other lap.

Haven’t done this but I have done a similar ride called eejanika in Japan. It is one of the most intense and awesome rollercoasters I have ever ridden.

On the last raven turn that drops down after the fire, I hit my head so hard that I had a headache for a week straight.

Will never get over yellowing-out on this ride😭😭😭

I believe in some seats it actively tries to give you a concussion. The front outter seats were awful. The back inner seats are much better!

X2 kept on flipping you and I was like "oh hell no"

This coaster was under construction during My one and only visit to this park. It was a great day! I would love to have gone back to ride this.

i went to magic mountain a few months ago with some friends and refused to go on x2 with them also i heard some guy say as he got off " THIS ROLLER COASTER WAS MADE BY A PSYCHOPATH"

this is one of my fav rides at sixflags, i waited 2 hrs in line to ride it

I rode it four times in the back; one inside seat and both outside seats, one of them repeated. It was an incredible ride but a little rough and way too short. It's not painful though, as long as guests keep their legs extended so as not to hurt ones calves.

I got a major headache on scream, I think it was the consistent head bumping. Do you think the outcome would be the same with x2? Since this one moves you around alot

It's HALF an Arrow. During construction Arrow went bankrupt and S&S Power bought them. They then took X and finished it and made it into X2. That's why S&S 4D coasters have Arrow-style tracks. Since they own the track design they can use it. The 4D coaster is probably the ONLY type of coaster that still uses the Arrow-style track.

I'm considering going on this ride when I visit next week but I'm not sure since I've only done two mild looping coasters before. If I do it should I save it for last or do it first? I wanted to go on Tatsu first but it looks like it might be closed.

Just rode this today. WHAT THE HECK

This ride is overrated. It’s not even that good and why are people saying it’s the best drop on a coaster. Like no. Almost every other drop in the park is better than X2. Yes, even Goliath. At least you get the stomach drop feeling and airtime. Not just hang there the whole time. I do like this ride though. It’s very fun. It’s my number 5 in the park. I like how intense it is besides the raven turn thingy because that tries to tear of your legs.

When I went on Sunday that took joker at sfdks spot for number one. And luckily when I went the fire was working. Sounds weren’t though.

I mean does it hurt cause viper hurts because of how it hurts ur neck and head ?

my entire body hurt for an entire day after riding this and it sucked. 4/10 coaster from my experience
