Vroid is available on android and apple phones. It's much simpler and such but you can make your model and use it from your phone :)

Vroid Is Available EveryWhere i uses Android

In the top right of the program there’s a button to click. It’ll give you the export option. If you want to add things like blendshapes later, make sure one of the options such as “reduce meshes” are selected. These are needed for extra stuff in unity. Once you export it’ll save as a vrm. For 3D printing I’m not sure, but I’ll look into it!

@MugZCat heya! If you wanna stream from PC I personally use OBS. It’s pretty easy to use and you can put a lot into it. There’s a lot of really good guides for OBS too so you’ve got a bunch of options to learn 😊

You need a webcam, preferably an iPhone X or newer for the best degree of face tracing but a normal webcam still works, and an app like VSeeFace

Depending on what app you use there’s some presets but it’s mostly via a camera for face tracking and the body depends on how much extra tech you want. There’s some apps that are free which detect body movement. Others use physical items. But you can also use apps like VUP to post and move the character

Might be an issue in the texture file. Each part of the body will have a PNG image that can be edited, so there might be an issue there.

There’s some cheap models on booth.pm and Etsy but not really. Most everyone designs for the anime aesthetic unless it’s a custom build from scratch

@@KeroArai how do i custom build from scratch? i'm completely new to this, i didn't even know that vtubers exist 2 weeks ago but i have a podcast with some friends and we really we are all not sure yet wether we want to show our faces or not but agree that uploading video and not just audio would be nice cause we talk a lot with our hands and gestures (sorry english is not my first language, i hope this doesn't sound too weird, i don't know how to explain) so i 'discovered' this recently but i can't figure out where to start. also, we all don't want the anime look, it doesn't suit us unfortunately. i love drawing and i also do a lot of cartoon but i just can't figure out how to digitalize and animate, i only draw and paint on paper and canvas... do you have an idea for me? or do you know where i could find people online who could help me? i don't use social media besides youtube and i was offline for years so i really have no clue 😂😂 i really feel lost in the internet and basically everything tech-related

Welcome to vtubing! Your English seems fine ^^ for 3D you have to use programs blender to build a model from polygons and wireframes. For 2D you just draw it in photoshop but every item has to be a separate layer (like: left eyelid top, left eyelid bottom, left iris, left pupil, left sclera, etc.) which takes time but then you rig it in Live2D. I don’t really work with 2D but there’s some amazing guides that can teach you to turn any drawing into a vtuber ^^

Yep! When you add an item of clothing or accessory to your model, you can edit the texture and there’ll be an import option. You use that. The booth page should tell you which item to use as the base. ^^

@@FooxSimps On the item of clothing (or accesory area) select it on the left, and then on the top right area of the program there'll be "Edit Texture" which will open a new thing. It'll have on the left a Texture with the dropdown arrow. There'll be "Layers" and a picture of the item. Usually titled Default Design or soemthing. Right click that and it'll say Import. I'll make a video soon for future reference if it'll help!
