Somehow, I stumbled across your channel. I love it. I have always loved Audi's styling but feared buying one because of the reported maintenance costs. I am not mechanically inclined and being older (63 yrs.) not interested in doing my own maintenance anymore. However, after watching your series of videos on the A8, I may reconsider purchasing an Audi. Maybe something a little newer. Thank you for the content. You guys do pretty good detailed videos. If you wanted something a little less tame all you had to do was go up a few stages on the DS1. My DS1 stage 4 alpha 2013 S7 is an absolute beast.

Great experience getting this from Todd. The videos were super helpful in my decision. The torque is crazy on this A8, and it is more 'fun' mid-throttle. I've stood on it a few times from a dead stop and while rolling, and all four tires spin, which I haven't experienced in Audi's due to the Quattro. I feel like I lose a few seconds just spinning. I have to really stay disciplined to drive the speed limit. I tried all the modes and will agree that the Comfort mode is excellent and more chill. Dynamic is aggressive, which I like, but I have to race everyone. If I have passengers, they don't like getting their necks jerked while in Dynamic, Comfort seems to not thrust as strongly. Thinking of doing stage 2, but I want it to last for a long time and how much faster do I need to go?

Thank you for your video. I have a plan to take 2015 D4 4.0. However I am worrying about the maintenance such as arms, air suspension, water pump and etc. I think if I can replace those parts, I can afford to take it, of course it must not be difficult because I am not a mechanic. Do you think the normal people like me can replace and maintain A8L?
