Singing and piano part is so beautiful! I used to play this tune on the church organ during communion, but another hymn, "o the Deep deep love of Jesus". :)

Some songs speak to us more than others! All the hymns remind us of the blessing of being United with our Lord. We are half way through the week! Stay strong!

Excellent isn’t it - how they work together so harmoniously: so much so that you couldn’t even tell the difference between there being two musicians instead of one! Either they have an excellent mixing engineer or they are a spirit led musical duo …. I know which option I’d choose 😊

This song is new to me. You sung it well. It reminds me of choices and consequences. Evil will be here temporarily, but God is forever. We should want to do right and go to heaven.

I can't believe I didn't reply to this message. I adore this hymn. I knew the melody but never sang it before so it was an opportunity to enjoy it even more! We are so close to the coming of our Lord, sorrow may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning. I pray work is going well for you @Dj Menkiti!

@@melissaoretade I just got off lol!! I couldn't wait!! And they increased my hours 😂😆!! It's a blessing tho. At least thank the Lord I'm off on the Sabbath. Well, really I don't work on weekends. Work is good, but definitely a workout lol. I can't wait until Sabbath!!

I can only imagine how daunting the lyrics and instrumental felt at that age. It’s a beautiful hymn but definitely quite foreboding. Blessings to you from the Lord.
