I used to agree, but then I saw the original PV, and it has a way more ominous vibe - like she eats herself (the version dressed as the bunny) and she looks depressed the whole time except for the occasional faint smile. I think it’s maybe just about escapism or something though, nothing truly “dark”

I can't speak for everyone, but I just have a bad feeling about this. I like cute things, but this is just a little too much. It's too in-your-face to be genuine, or at least that's how I feel. Plus, the rabbit's face kind of falls into the uncanny valley. It gives me the creeps. I do believe happy things can happen, but there's a limit.

I remember a long time ago I had a Chibi Hatsune Miku rhythm game on my 3DS and this was my favorite song to play on it loll god i think i was 10 playing that 💀 i feel old

I just love how they make this song seem so innocent. Well, I think it may have a darker meaning than you think. I'll tell you why. I think what happened was that Miku was a kid that got bored of being on her computer and decided to go for a walk. It was already the middle of the night, but she thought it a good idea and took a walk anyway. The pink rabbit I think is supposed to represent some kind of a weirdo who would lure Miku somewhere. So the weirdo lures Miku somewhere and I think he/she drugs her. When Miku gets drugged, I think she either starts having vivid hallucinations or falling asleep and having a vivid dream as a result of the drug. I think the drug might've been weed or something of that sort, because it can induce happy feelings, which probably explains why Miku is so happy and it's all "lots of laugh". I think Miku might've been high, you guys.
