Put the Dark Horse against non-supercharged Roush and see who takes the cake then. Better yet put that Roush against a Shelby GT500 and see who blows who away!

Dark Horse actual retail 68k on average, Roush 90k. So add the $9500 stage 2 whipple kit to the Dark Horse bringing it up to 855hp for a total of $77,500. Not only will it walk the Roush but it has better handling as well and saves you $12,500. Most people buying the Dark Horse are planning to mod, everyone else just buys the GT.

I was looking to get a Darkhorse for the listed 60K, but found out that they were going for at least 15K more because the dealers knew they could. I ended up with a GT for 47K, out the door. I can upgrade suspension, wheels, and do some performance upgrades for way less than what I would've spent on the Darkhorse and have a better performing car. It only has 14 more horses than me out of the box and I'm making up the difference, this weekend for about $300. If I end up with a supercharger, it won't even be close and will still be cheaper.

@@stealthman9203I looked at a fully loaded 24 GT 62K same lot had a Dark Horse 67k no dealer markup bought the Dark Horse and for the extra 5k I got. Upgraded cams, upgraded intake, upgraded headers, upgraded cat back exhaust, internals from the GT500, rear diff cooler, upgraded oil cooling, bigger wheels, better tires, and more responsive steering. Ordered the whipple in March, by the way base GT without active exhaust is 480hp you have to get the premium to get 486hp.

@@charleswhite5482 Sounds like you got lucky and found a dealer that isn't as greedy as most. The active exhaust was the only box that I checked, so, got that. I purposely didn't get the premium package to avoid the magnaride suspension, and the 3.73 rearend, and the 7K charge for stuff I didn't want. Similar to you, I can use that 7k and turn this into the track (race not drag) that I bought it for.

This is not a stage 3 Roush. The grille emblem does not have a 3, it’s an R… Also, the Roushcharger would not fit under the stock engine cover. And the footage definitely shows a stock GT engine cover!… Having said that, if this NON-supercharged Roush Trak Pak actually destroyed that Dark Horse like that… Then Ford should be embarrassed!!

Dark Horse seems like it was intended for the regular guy that has saved a long time and wants the car after working hard. So, that's my car.

Roush is an Up-Tuned Mach1 Handling Pack.... It has all the Dark Horse Features though still lower with the Roush Tuned ManeRide 👨🏻👍🏻🏎🏎🏁🏁🚩🚩⛰⛰🌲🌲Suspension.. Roush better than Shelby American or Saleen Mustangs.. Seen footage of Steve Saleen say "All his products are off the Base Mustang GT.. in 2022 I bought a White Roush Mustang with the Rev-Match Tremec 3rd Fun Pedal 6 Speed Manual Transmission, MagneRide, & Intercooled Limited Slip Torsen Rear Differential... It is the best handling car I will ever own... I don't Like the S650 Mustang.. It looks like 2023 to 2024 Honda Accord ( front Facia with Bugatti Headlamps )
