I thought similar. I'm glad (for lack of a better term) he's coming clean here, showing a conscience. But how someone that educated, that entrenched in not only the political system, but Republican party, and Trump campaign, claim he was so naive that he was "tricked" is a poor excuse, and frankly not wholly believable. He very likely knew what they were doing was wrong at multiple stages, likely illegal, and lacked a spine to stand up against it.

That was my thought! We were one judge away from overturning an election?!

Unfortunately, having grown up in that state, I can say for sure that some of these people are appallingly ignorant and judgemental in the worst way. I cringe with frustration and embarrassment over people like this everywhere. Such ignorance and arrogance are seriously dangerous threats to the ability of our country to survive and thrive going forward. Reading between the lines...I've been to Russia twice over the past 35 years and I can tell you, I don't want to live there!

@@user-zt2bc1fc8f Well said. How can formerly intelligent, country loving people be so easily swayed by these cons, knowing they are being traitors to the country? I will never understand.
