I love rekis whole character ark. I have had similar things happen where I introduce a friend to something and they suddenly become way better than I've ever been at it in a fraction of the time it took me to get even close. It hurts and I think his character ark is pretty realistic especially for his age. I've felt left in the dust before and I'm his age. While watching it I wanted them to add that sort of ark in and they did

The community is sick and the dub VAs are just as fun! Worked for Miya's ENG VA (Ry McKeand) for a bit and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Sk8 the infinity is great all around, always recommend.

the dub is so genuinely good, and maybe i have slight bias as a dub enjoyer, but its so funny i love it. as a nonbinary person, the “bitches, bros, and nonbinary hoes” line coming from adam not only caught me off guard but made me laugh SO hard. and of course, other lines were said in specific ways to make it seem more queer, such as the infamous “reki, my love…. of skateboarding”

For anyone that’s going to watch it, I IMPLORE you to watch the sub first if you can. It’s harder to take seriously in the dub, precious as it is, and the sub has a slightly more serious tone Feel free to watch the dub after tho because not only is it a good show to watch multiple times, but the dub is fucking funny

I honestly relate to Reki and Mika the most sometimes people will look down on u and call u stuff while your friend is the one who is better and it can get to you. Finally I relate to Mika because you try to open yourself for a friendship but they just push you aside once your good at something or they think your better then them it hurts

I too kinda felt that everyone was treating reki as a useless person except for langa of course but as a main character i believe they might give him much cool moments as a compensation in the 2nd season, I'm just saying what i expect since it was kind of all about langa on the first season as the "cool guy" but I'm hoping they'll show reki's true colours and that "cool mc" side of him on the next season :>

I thought it was kind of a Longboarder kind of anime since most of them except Reki looks like they're using a longboards and it's just a downhill racing.

I started watching this as a joke with my husband and we ended up really enjoying it! Even if it has silly moments its a great time and one of the VERY few anime's I'll gladly watch in dub

And also the dub is very very gay, here’s why: • Joe called Cherry cute • Thsi conversation: Langa’s mom: So, you like this person, right? Langa: eh! Yeah… Langa’s mom: Show her she’s a lucky girl! Langa: What girl? • I think in the exact next scene after the one I just talked about Langa wonders if Reki is going to S that night 😂 • Also this: Langa: I want to spend Infinity with you Reki! Like you cannot tell me he isn’t implying something else 👀 • Annnnnnd this: Langa 💭: Reki, my love… …of skateboarding comes from you Like they cannot leave that long of a space between those two sentence parts 😂 There are way too many gay moments to put in one comment but those are the ones that are the best 😌❤

I don’t like anime, like not a single bit, but while I was in the kitchen with my brother one lazy morning he looked at me and said, *you should watch skate the infinity* and for some reason I decided that morning that I would watch the entire series in one sitting.

I really love the characters and the story, and can go on how amazing this anime is, but the best part is how they did Reki's story❤

Okay, but watch Yuri!!! On Ice. It’s one of the few anime’s I LOVE the voice acting SIGNIFICANTLY MORE than the sub. Mainly because it’d make SENSE for them to speak English at the Olympics (they do it all the time irl because it’s a language a lot of other countries require you to learn) and because, in the sub, you just don’t get the full experience. For example, Victor and Yuri are both Russian - therefore, they’re given Russian accents. You just don’t GET that experience in the sub. Also, there are times where Viktor talks about not knowing Japanese (or was it Yuri? I’m not 100% sure), but they’re…speaking…it? Also, JOSH GRELLE is voicing Yuuri. You know, ARMIN?! There are TONS of beloved English voice actors in it, and I love it. It gives accents to everyone (except the the Katsuki family and Pichit? Idk). Sara and her brother are from Spain, therefore have a Spanish accent. It’s just something that I love so much. P.S. Sk8 the Infinity is also one I like the dub much more. Idk. I like Cherry and Joe’s voices better in English. Also, ADAM’s line-- “Hey Bitches, Bros, and Non-binary Hoes-“ THAT LIKE IS **GOLD**
