Naturally Testify Sunday: I have tried to flat twist my hair for over three years but it always came out frizz mess and pulling apart while I unraveled it in the morning...BUT GOD said that's not it and directed me to this video. Thank you SO much for slowing down. I'm a newer natural & most videos just assume you can braid / twist so they fly through instructions. I love that you turned it into a mantra, it's much easier to remember if you speak as you go lol. && thanks most of all for showing the process is the same on both sides, I've slipped up (& gave up) thinking I had to swap directions.

I must say Thank you for this! I watched this last month and was able to do some chunky, funky looking flat twists, LOL, for the first time. Even though they looked sloppy (weird parts, some twists not close to my scalp, etc.), the next day when I took them out, my curls were POPPING and I was looking great for my Xmas party at work. The compliments were non stop :)! Best tutorial I've watched & shall revisit when I have a brain fart. Keep doing what your doing and sharing the skills! Happy New Year to you and yours!

OMG! I have been struggling with both flat and two strand twist foe the longest. I've been natural 1 yr and 4 mths er week has been a struggle to Jus get them to stay WELL Huntie.....you have taught me well. I was very confusing figuring out your left and my right and which hand was supposed to do what at first, But I practiced it a few times with moderate success and kind of started to understand which hand was supposed to do what. This is the first video I've watched that actually helped me get at least one solid twist in. I'm so used to using both hands with equal effort to do my two strand twist (the only style I know how to do, which has really put me in a style rut because all I've done was twists and twist outs for a long time) that I couldn't help trying to use both hands to go over and under. And I ended up plating my ends on a few of them for security. Anyway! I'm so excited because I'm sure with some more practice, I'll be able to get it down! Thank you so much!

thank you sooo much! i usually cornrow and my instinct is to pick up hair with both fingers instead of just one. thats where i was slippin. twists are more gentle for thinner hair so once again thx for helping me switch it up! 💛
